hi guys, as it says above id like a .243 bolt action rifle , i'm not worried about make/model/condition/age but it must be in proof and shoot straight, it'll only be used now and again so i only want something very cheap . cheers fellas

i have it on very good authority that he is real however he's not a pukka countryman but a proffesional that has made his money in books,tv and whatnot and is now in the fortunate position that he can play the countryman without fear of starving if his plans don't work out ,i also have it on good authority that he's a bell end of the highest order and seems to think that he's something a bit special. ps i'm still a great fan of his programmes.

magman is correct,you can always find more shooting permission but that would be a bit difficult if the worst happened,just think how you would feel if next time he got off a shot it hit one of the younger members of your shooting party, i think firstly i might have a quiet word with the land owner and then the keeper and if i had no joy i would be off to the police. just my humble opinion

my main shoot is probably 30/35 miles away but with popping onto other bits of permission on the way i can usually cover 100 miles, i do this at least once each week but it could be as much as 3 or 4 times

if i shoot quite a few i always bring some home with me and my mate debreasts them for his ferrets
