  1. Today i rode at 20mph out of my town to work, on my way back i rode at 30mph because they have changed some signs but not others, so traffic going one way on the road was doing 20 and the other side 30, what a monumental farce. https://petitions.senedd.wales/petitions/245548
  2. What do you think an investigative journalist does? Usually they break a story and the police then investigate, think Nixon in the usa. This is in the news because of a joint investigation by channel 4 , the Times and the Sunday Times.
  3. Telescopic gauges to to determine the inside dia of camshaft bearings or connecting rod bore
  4. Yes she does and it was shown on the dispatches programme.
  5. 2012 A woman alleges that Brand raped her against a wall at his Los Angeles home in July 2012 after she refused to join him in sexual activity with “a friend” of Brand. She alleges that she told Brand to get off her and that she wanted to leave, but he carried on and briefly blocked the door to prevent her from leaving afterwards. She told the Sunday Times she was treated at a Rape Treatment Centre that same day, and had therapy treatment there for five months. Records seen by the Sunday Times show she contemplated criminal or civil proceedings but ultimately decided against it. After the incident, Brand sent her text messages apologising for what happened and describing his behaviour as “crazy and selfish”. It happened the same month that Brand’s divorce from the singer Katy Perry was finalised.
  6. He has 6.6 million followers on you tube and 3.8 million on instagram.
  7. Some posts have been removed, please remember this is a public forum, accusations against individuals and organisations could be libellous and the poster could find themselves in court. Also, we have all read the supposed sex acts this individual did, we do not need a graffic description. This is a sensitive subject, tread carefully please.
  8. Dripford sneaks in and out because he knows he is hated, he came to a hotel built 300yds away from where i work to big them up for their first year in business, no one had a clue he was there until the local news reported his visit, he slithers in and slithers away.
  9. Undue care and attention apples also to cyclists.
  10. My town will become completly 20mph from Sunday(yellow is 20), just stupid, i agree with 20 mph round schools hospitals etc. The cost for all this is estimated at £33 million, the cost to the econemy is estimated at over £4 billion, when Wales has a lot of stuff this could be spent on like our dire nhs.
  11. I have a niece, she has always been fairly large, but so is her mother and it is down to the lack of exercise and eating like a horse. This niece went and had a gastric band fitted privately nearly two years ago, a week after having it done she was in intensive care in an NHS hospital with an infection, it spread, she has had numerous operations to fight it with various bits chopped out, the wounds won't heal and she comes out of hospital for a few days every month or so and then back in to be looked after and to try and stabalise and heal the gaping wounds. Now this wasn't done in Turkey or abroad, it was done in a private clinic in Birmingham. I think it is safe to say it has ruined her life, and she will never be fit and healthy again, it's a shame as her two young kids worry about their mum and spend most of the time visiting her in hospital. Why people have these procedures is beyond me.

    Job Quandry

Which job will cause you the least amount of stress? I used to earn very good money, but the stress factor was immense, my doctor advised me that it was damaging my health, i quit my job, work for a huge amount less, have great boss's the job is technical enough to keep me interested, but it doesn't stress me out (well a tiny bit at times but not adrenaline inducing stress like i used to have) and i think i have a good work/life balance.
  13. My teacher Mr Cole in Junior school, ginger haired bear of a man, he had a pin and plate in one of his elbows which kept his arm locked in an L shape, from an injury serving in Korea. With his good arm he could lauch the blackboard duster with extreme accuracy and speed i had the bumps on the head to prove it, and one time when i argued with the class bully he whacked me with his locked arm and launched me over a desk. He didn't suffer fools. Some days he appeared dishevelled, tie slightly undone and more grumpy than normal, looking back he probably had PTSD and i am sure he was a functioning alcoholic.
  14. In school i was always in the lower grade for maths, i honestly thought i was a bit thick when it came to the subject, and when i left i did a year in a technical college where the old man doing the maths lessons was a revelation who explained and helped and i ended up getting 98% in the final exam, i then joined the Army, who also showed me that maths wasn't a dread, and doing bridge calcs and other stuff involved in engineering became clear. I now check engineering reports, Pi r squared is used daily as are other calcs that i dreaded in school., i am a scribbler who jots a lot of it down rather than work it in my head, i find i can refer back if it's not looking right. It turns out i wasn't thick, i just had very bad teachers.
  15. And you think labour will get rid of it when they come to power, if anything they would be the ones to hasten it along, look across the border to Wales at the labour dictatorship to see what labour will do.

  19. Fom memory 12 months on international then you need to take your test.
  20. Some say his first language is binary, and that he understands what a syntax error is, others believe that he is part human part computer, others say he actually knows all about computational complexity theory and NP is light reading. But all we know is that he fixes things after we have tried turning it off and on again.
  21. And after that painful rollercoaster of a thread i think we are all done here.
  22. Admin stated early on what the problem maybe and that it is out of their control.
