  1. Come on then, get some "before" pictures up mate, what do you weigh now?
  2. Look, I'm happy to pay the costs of licensing, in a world where you can't even get a sandwich from M&S for less than £4, the license (and everything that goes with it) for £0.83 a month is staggeringly good value. However, I think the issue isn't with bringing what we pay to meet the current costs, but refining, homing and sorting out the licensing system from it's unnecessary bureaucracy and red tape, so the whole process ultimately doesn't cost £198 per person.
  3. What?! that's not dangerous! he's got a cage and everything. Unless he was chasing down Peter Crouch.
  4. I call this one "The cripple maker" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1HZztie5ac
  5. What, my bit of flint wedged a mammoth bone can be improved?
  6. Phone BASC. Ask them. Case closed.
  7. Don't forget your camera. I want to see pictures in "sporting pictures" this weekend!
  8. Looks like a commissioned piece that was never paid for (as it looks half completed)
  9. You got a contract or anything signed? - if so, off to small claims court! hurrah!
  10. Felt it was all a bit watered down - made everything look like it was rather easy to do.
  11. I might be miles off the mark here, so someone will have to correct me. I'm not 100% sure (more like 50%) but isn't using NV gear against the terms of the general license for everything but feral pigeon? Don't feel I'm nit-picking (Dead magpies are good magpies as far as I'm concerned) I just don't want you getting in trouble.

I agree guys. The other day my kids said they wanted to go out in the woods and play with sticks and build a fort! - I told them no ******* way was I letting them run about outside to get injured/abducted - So I bought them all some new games on their ipads and they are happily playing on them now. What's worse is the kids argued back! I don't know if it's TV or the Internet or something, but that wouldn't of happened in my day, sodding country is going to the dogs.
  14. I'm moving away for a new job. Part of this new job is accommodated training for 10 weeks, followed by a mixture of working in other accommodated areas. Because of this I've given up my rented house, and moved in with a relative for a week, I was supposed to leave next week to start. I didn't want to give up shooting until the last moment, so on Wednesday I had sold the last of my guns, got rid of my cartridges and even popped round the farmers to give him a thank you, and explain I wasn't going to be around for a couple of years. (It was very emotional) Well guess what? - I got a letter in the post yesterday saying I was now not leaving till May 6th! - for the first time in my life I get two weeks off paid holiday, and it has to be the ******* day after I give all my shooting up! I know it's not much to moan about, but still!
  15. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but I've seen stag do's where a bit' o fishing does nothing but crash the mood. 6 hours of cold, 2 fish caught, everyone at various states of seasickness. Or, you know, go go-karting or something.
  16. 5 points for you to being the first person in a while who has remembered to update a post.
  17. I just drive a combine harvester to work. I never have any issues with cyclists. or dogs. or pedestrians. or mobility scooters. Sodding grain chute keeps clogging though.
  18. I also rate them very well. I spent about £5 a month on my £15 phone and that's fine by me.
  19. But what about reading this post? or this thread? Jesus christ this cyclist is a nuisance to us all. You hold his arms and I'll kick him in the balls.
  20. I bet money he was going to turn right, and did so in a fashion that meant he didn't have to dive in front of various overtaking cars before attempting it. You had approximately 2 seconds of your life wasted, and now you've made me waste 20 seconds of mine writing out this post. Ohhhhh the circle of liffeeee.
  21. I'll accept x4 the fee's if it comes with x4 the service. (Well, not Norfolk, who are normally excellent).
  22. There's nothing at Norfolk Gamefair you won't find at another, closer gamefair. Ebay them tickets? - maybe put them up here?
  23. I (and many others) would say pants. Not much on topic, and a load of old unrelated **** being sold. I've not been in a couple of years. I do however still enjoy the much underrated (but small) Sandringham Gamefair.
