  1. The latest Wasp pellets are already deformed before they go into the tin at the factory, shame really, the old BSA and Webley guns used to love them. As above, you are better off buying in bulk,a lot of the guys in my club do it to keep the batch the same for better accuracy.
  2. Not sure if it was this model or the Walther LGV had options on triggers ie different for Europe than the UK .
  3. We have used the M3 Winchester services a couple of times now and had no complaints, surprisingly quiet rooms considering they are right by the roadway.
  4. You would be pushing it for a decent gun if it`s a pcp you are after, I picked up a 10 shot BSa Ultra a few years ago for £280, don`t forget it needs a charging system too.
  5. I used to use a plastic pop bottle crate with some foam on as a seat, doubles as a handy carry basket when turned the other way, only ambush in the warm weather now, too old for sitting in the damp and cold, might get piles......
  6. Try these http://webleyoc.8forum.info/or here http://www.airgundoctor.co.uk/ Simon used to work at Webley and dated a Webley Osprey for me.
  7. Supposedly the fastest gun in Hollywood.......
  8. Check the o ring on the pellet probe is not damaged, you can get spare o rings for the magazine and probe of ebay, what brand and head size pellets are you using....
  9. Think this might be a Bsa Hornet rather than a Ultra......
  10. T W Chambers have the breech seals in stock.£4.30 a pair,
  11. Sorry, yes it has been like that for a while, try these I have ordered from them before http://www.ajaxcustomgrips.com/with no probs.
  12. Try Here http://www.escortgunleather.com, just may be worth checking the fit as I seem to remember I read some where that the Uberti Buntline used the bigger grip frame off the 1860 Army model,
  13. Don`t be put off,I have a single shot Scorpion, a multi shot Ultra and a R10 all in .177 calibre as with most airguns they all like a different pellet but all are pellet on pellet at 25 yards and I have not had any major issues with any of them, I get a good, usable 70 shots from a 190 bar fill with the Scorpion.
  14. If the Lightning has the Maxigrip rail fitted you may get away with low mounts, just to confuse the issue a little
  15. if anyone is interested there are two or three Youtube videos showing the Carry On locations then and now, quite interesting I thought, just search Carry On film locations
  16. It`s only a flat bar that slides into a slot in the trigger when you engage it, take the stock off and have a look, may just need a bit of lube as it`s new have a look here bottom left http://www.airgunspares.com/store/category/64/360/BSA/Scorpion-Singleshot/
  17. I have a 177 Bsa Lightening that I use for pest control, rats etc and I have been toying with the idea of fitting something like this or a short scope with a number 4 ret something like a Nikko Stirling Diamond I-4 x 24, to speed up target acquisition,
  18. Not sure if anyone will have one yet, they have only just hit the shops at around £400, they are in the starter rifle budget, looks a little like the Bsa Ultra to me.,
  19. I have a section 1 Winchester 1897, 1946 vintage, took me four years to find one at the right price, simple gun but good fun to shoot, good luck with your search.
  20. I fill my .177 R10 to 200 bar and top up when the gauge on the gun drops to 100 bar, I get about ten top ups from a 3L, 300 bar bottle before it needs refilling.
  21. I have used these people in the past http://www.actionoptics.co.uk/Repairs.htm
  22. Try here http://www.airgundoctor.co.uk/ the guy is ex Webley/Venom
  23. Some Ultra safeties are tight whilst others are loose, the one on my R10 is really stiff to move whilst the one on my Ultra moves quite freely, the afore mentioned pin should have a star type washer on the end to stop it sliding out of the action, if there is a lot of sideways movement then there is not much you can do to tighten it up. It would`nt hurt to take the stock of and have a quick look though.
