  1. SPAS maybe? http://spas12.com/spas12intro3.htm
  2. AFAIK the A5 was never made in 3 1/2 inch
  3. +1 Skeet would also be more suitable than DTL/Balltrap
  4. Ah, so that'll explain all the accidents on the rifle ranges at Bisley where there are hundreds of people shooting and virtually nobody uses a break-open gun.
  5. Good shooting & some great pix. One thing though - I'd never leave my gun leaning up against a truck like that.
  6. Zastava. You're thinking of the Russian sniper. They're Serbian.
  7. I think you may have your scope on backwards. It's normal to have the objective lens at the end away from your eye, towards the object (there's a clue) you're trying to look at.
  8. Don't the Russians hard-chrome them?

    Conifer Logs

Freudian or what? Something you're not telling us Cranners?
  10. Co. Aontroim, Eire is a little political joke. Reloading is still legal in Northern Ireland. It's actually technically not illegal in the Republic either, but is effectively banned by the refusal of the authorities to sanction the imporation of powders or primers.
  11. c.40 years Many rifles, several shotguns & a couple of pistols. Only one break. (FWIW it was in a pistol). I.e., in a decent gun, used properly it should be very rare.
  12. I believe you're mistaken. See http://www.hunt101.com/showphoto.php/photo...57/ppuser/28081 - as marketed in the UK by BSA
  13. Impractical I'd say, although for all I know maybe it's theoretically possible on some guns. Can't imagine there's the remotest chance it'd be economic to do.
  14. Mmmm... quite a sheltered upbringing then?
  15. Could have been worse...........
  16. Since you're looking for improbable calibres on the net, why not answer your own question by Googling "Flintstone Super Eyebunger" And Ecclesiastes 1:9
  17. Savage does make bolt action 12 gauge shotguns, but they're nothing to do with the No. 4 Enfield.
  18. The zimmer frame version is far superior, because you get 3 shots. (Or 4 if you don't need the sword & can get the Sect 1 permit).
  19. Interesting gun. That's some rib on it, and it appears to be stocked quite flat; gives the impression of a live pigeon gun. Can we see the proof marks?
  20. So why's the writing at the other end called a headstamp?
  21. http://www.hunt101.com/showphoto.php/photo...84/ppuser/28081 1936 prices; I'd imagine you'd get more than £7.25 for it today.
