After the near ideall conditions of last weekend, the wind has almost completely died away down here in Kent. :yp: Have any of you had much success shooting in still conditions, In my past experiance, birds seem to sit around and are hard to decoy in any real numbers. Has anyone else found this ?? And if so, any tips for a good bag ??

Swedish' Cyl is fine for pigeons, but size 7 shot is a must. It's the patten that kills not indiviual shot. Peter Theobold, one of the current day pigeon shooting legends, shoots (or used to if not still) shoots a perazzi cyl 1/4 and no7 and regularly kills pigeons to 35 yards. So a good quality GAME size 7 and bring the birds to within 30 yards you should be ok

PYTHON - (Snake sort, not monty sort) i would have said several spring or fenn type traps set on the 'runs' used by the mice. jam sandwich always seems like good bait. You will also need to find and distroy the nests
