Thinking about it the one I went to is probably too far out as it was near south bend where I was visiting Honeywell...it was massive, hunting gear one side, fishing gear the other and a bar / restaurant separating them. What I can remember is not to visit a town called Gary which is south along the lake shore...proper people of Walmart scary place...

I tried it for a while to see if it helped with my terrier's epilepsy, it didn't so stopped as good quality dried kibble so much easier and both dogs do really well on it. I did find that the proponents of feeding raw can be very militant about it and that in some cases their way is the only way and in lots of ways the argument of the militant raw feeders was full of holes.

I don't what the the seasons are but I stayed there for a weekend during a business trip and went to a Chicago bulls game which was great. Its worth going up the sears tower, especially at night and the pier is worth a visit too. It was absolutely freezing when I was there as it was January but I expect it will be warmer if the trip is soon! There is a massive hunting and fishing shop not too far out as well, can't remember the name but it wasn't bass pro or cabalas.

You obviously wanted one like mine lol! Bomb proof...not as quick as your Suzuki though!

Nevermind mate...plenty more opportunities!

I would push really hard for a replacement...they have had opportunity to rectify the fault - more than I would have given them - so I would be asking for brand new replacement or refund...technically of the shop as you have a contract with them not the manufacturer although I realise they have been the good guys in this farce.

Totally agree...I have 30years left until retirement, I have bought my first house now but needed 2 years salary after tax for the deposit and the house cost 5x my pre tax salary...the post war generation enjoyed housing that was hugely cheaper in comparison, free university education and will get a state pension...I however will get sod all. When we have children in the next year or so we will get zero tax relief / credits etc and will be living off just my wage. There is no way that the post war generation had it as hard as people my age now...many of whom are now sat on houses worth many millions - I will never ever get a return like that on my investment, especially since politicians and bleeding heart lefties are determined to make sure lazy scum who choose a life on benefits from the outset for generations (not referring to anyone on here - I mean the benefits street type wasters) get every opportunity for free whilst those of us who work hard have to pay for the parasites.

Good write up...I could really imagine you out with it and the issues mate lol!
-
I was about write exactly that...benefits because you dont like your job? Are you joking? Change jobs or live off less but why expect to be paid by my taxes to not work because you don't like it...

Father in law works for Vauxhall and had the previous 1.6 petrol Mokka for a bit...I liked it buy it was way to underpowered with that little engine. He now has a 1.7 diesel one which is much better...nicer than the kuga in my opinion

I recently bought a compact system camera - a Samsung NX300 and it's brilliant...remote viewfinder and control from my phone which was great for self portrait snaps of the wife and I on honeymoon. Are there munties in Scotland? There are no CWD that's almost certain

Rough could be good for the shore fishing - churns up the food source and brings small fish and therefore predators closer in. Its chucking it down here so enjoy yourself in the sun!

Caught any fish yet? What you doing on PW? Get fishing / drinking!

I wish you a speedy recovery pal...I have experienced the removal of one of these from the other side - I removed one from a kid when I was at med school and could see how unpleasant it was (the father fainted and the kid was incredibly brave).

Paid stalks?

The fact that he couldn't be bothered to proof read his email before hitting send suggests he wasn't really that bothered either -
Not worth hiring kit mate - could buy all you need for spinning / feathering for mackerel or bass for less than £20

I'd go down the unmerchantable quality route. If it's b&q I used to work there when I was a student...just ask to see the manager and kick up a sufficiently large stink they will sort it just to get rid of you...

We flew into San Francisco and spent 3 nights there then got the car and drove south down the coast and stayed near Monterey for whale watching and big sur for 3 nights, then inland to sequoia national park, yosemite then across to Napa valley for a night then up to northern coast and the avenue of the giants, fort Bragg and back down the coast to SF. You can't miss out yosemite...highlights for me were the coast and yosemite. The rest was awesome too but they are a must see. Fuel is £2.30 a gallon and driving is easy on the freeways and very very steep and windy on the roads through the mountains or down to the coast. People are lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

Just under 3 weeks. Did 3000 miles in rental car but we wanted to see sequoia, kings canyon and yosemite national parks which are a fair way inland. Monterey bay aquarium is a must see as is highway 1 down big sur. Santa Cruz is a surfing Mecca and you are joined in the surf by sea lions and sea otters.

Just got back from doing just that...California is fantastic which so much to do and see and so many varied landscapes and beautiful scenery and the marine mammals are so numerous and awesome to see. British virgin isles a good call too...one of my absolute favourite Caribbean islands along with Tobago and Dominica (not Dominican republic, much smaller than that).
