  2. the bottom firing pin on brownings quite often pierce the detonator & it blows back on the pin hence the pitting
  3. can't have been an hatsan, it didn't jam
  4. beatiful AYA quality gun, wish it was in my gun cabinet
  5. as above, push through with a couple of kitchen rolls spray with napier gun cleaner have a cup of coffee then clean it
  6. i take out every time, clean & smear with bisley gun grease, no problems & they don't work loose
  7. gamebore clear pigeon 30gm plastic wad work for me
  8. if it's still working ok it's less than a year old LOL
  9. use maintained lead instead of swinging through,works for me when using my baikal hushpower
  10. baikal is a good budget gun & will last a lifetime
  11. i have a full size part charged dive bottle, but it's out of test £30 collected i live in bridlington cheers
  12. another thing with the hunter jacket is they are not gunstock friendly, the popper on the handwarmer pockets mark the stock when your gun is carried overarm, also if the top popper by the neck isn't fastened that marks your stock as you put the gun up to your cheek, i just use mine for walking the dog now
  13. the beretta prevail seems to have a lot of ejector problems iv'e read about,but i do prefere beretta's
  14. you can get mobil chokes flush fitting or extended,i found Avalon guns great for beretta chokes & the cheapest
  15. i have the same gun plus a silver pig 1 & an aya No2. i shoot the same with the baikal as i do with the others,but i like shooting the others better lol
  16. if your guns a sporter it's optima,if it's a game gun it's mobil chokes
  17. take the forend off grab hold of the barrels & shake it & beware of very tight actions on old guns, they could have been squeezed & will soon shoot loose again,hope thats of some help to you

    my tip is when you come indoors after shooting let your gun get to room temp(about half an hour) before cleaning & putting away because as the metal warms up condensation forms,so if you put it away too early this happens inside your cabinet(not a lot of people know that,but they do now) cheers
  19. this looks like an AYA XXV engraving, has it got 25'inch barells ?
  20. My recipe for stock oil which i've used for years on my AYA no2 and more recently on my beretta silver pig 1,it is 3 parts artist quality linseed oil to 1 part artist quality PURE turpentine, leave for 8 days before using or applying more oil,lovely job.(just a few drops & rub well in)
  21. i have an AYA no 2,a beretta silver pig 1,& a baikal 27e,i don't realy like to admit it but i shoot better with my baikal, which cost me £100
