Well done, i went out a few weeks back for the first time in about 10 years, 53 rats from 60 shots in just over 2 hours. Great fun and will be doing some more ratting in 2013......

Depends on if your kit is up to the job and keeps you warm and dry? Layers are the key and with the wind chill it will be very cold this time of year. A very good jacket as if it rains it will be coming sideways. Hope you have a fantastic time, Regards

Good advice from Redgum. You are correct in saying they dont stand still for longer than a second or two, when you see one track it with your rifle, confirm if its a shootable beast and fingers crossed it will pause to give you a good shot. Good luck, SS
