Saw a stoat at Worsley clay shoot last year .Itwas about 20 Mtr away from a stand it stood up watching us shoot.Noise didn’t bother it.

David Garrard was kind enough to replay to a few letters I sent him regarding home loading.Ideveloped a 20 buffered load .David loaded it up and tested it .He tested loads with mr Charlton who owned clay game.Still got the letters he wrote me.

I had a Acme call many years ago jackdaws and carrion came in most of the time .Had a mate called them in without a call.Plus he never missed one.

Plain flour was used .but pressures shoot up .I used it years ago before warnings .Read about it inAmerican magazine in the 70s

A fox set up will pull them

3 or 5 striking the target so 30? At a minimum would be acceptable ?Shoudent that be 130 ?

The Super Fox HE was a long range duck gun.When they come up for sale they bring big money.

Before we had plastic there were a lot of old guns that had been lapped out so in fact over bored.In America in the 20s the super Foxes were over bored to 750 some more and they shot very tight patterns.All with felt wads.

As for gas getting past fiber wads all eley wads measure 750 .try getting a felt wad from your favourite cartridge and push it thro your gun with a cleaning rod it will be a tight fit.
