Our first day is the 20th oct. We do driven pheasant and partridge one week and duck's the following week. So that's my weekend's sorted until the end of the season. We do some roost shooting at the end of the season to reduce the number of crow's, had some of my favorite day's at this. Can't wait count down in day's left to work 10.

Well done. I had a similar day, on standing barley. Shot 18 pigeon and 2 crow's in a couple of hour's. Had to pack up at 2pm to pick the kid's up. The pigeon's started to pour in at about 5 min's before i had to leave. They were droping on the decoy's as i was putting the hide away in full view. Had a good two hour's of peace though.

You could try a couple of them cheap solar garden light's. Put them near your bait you'll have more chance of seeing rat's after dark. They will get used to the light's after a few day's. Failing that get some lamping kit or nv if you have the money.

Anyone been to the great yorkshire show ? I was thinking of giving it a try. Do they have any shooting related stall's ? I,ve had a look at the web site there's not much info on the stall's. Has anyone had a .17 heavy barrel cut on a sako quad? If you have, was there any loss of accuracy. My uncle has just bought one and it is very front heavy He would like to get it cut to 16 inch is this ok on the heavy barrel's. Thank's for any advice.

What a pile of **** this show is. They build a so called AK 1000 yard sniper rifle, then get a army sniper to shoot a car at about 100 yard's :blink: after shooting a average groop on a 20 yard range.
