    Music

Alabama Shakes are a new band to me, but the more I listen the more I like!
  2. We get them in Sussex on the South Downs, I see them fairly regularly when summer dog walking, maybe one a month, the occasional adder too.
  3. You have another PM..or maybe the 1st.
  4. Please email pics of the kayak to mongrel.biker@gmail.com thanks, Paul.

  5. Blinking great race truck, with accommodation and facilities. Three track bikes (wet bike, dry bike, spare!) and Catherine Z-J to do the spannering. Then I'd be off, touring Europes finest race tracks and caning them all WAY too fast. Assuming I survived the riding and the motorcycling, then I'd ship the lot to Austarlia and do Phillip Island...US for Daytona...maybe Malaysia, then....
  6. Is this your sole accommodation?
  7. It's sport just as shooting clays is, I'm happy that there is no long term damage done generally when I return a fish. That said, I do now only sea and game fish, both with one eye very much on the pot. If I return something it's either undersized or inedible.
  8. So what you're trying to tell us is that you don't have a shed, feel slightly inadequate in this manly 2 shed or more company, and are trying to join the party by passing off your wood pile as a 'man zone'! I have two, one is quite small and full of kids toys...the other one is MASSIVE!
  9. Coniston brewery's Bluebird bitter on draught, Courage Directors on draught...if I must bottle then Bishops Finger or Tanglefoot always pleases.
  10. They were around still last week. I caned three dozen off the beach at Southwick in under an hour for the bait freezer. They were chasing fry along the groynes, but with the weather we're having at the moment you'll have no chance. Have a look at WSF forum , particularly the South Coast catch reports, it'll soon be on there if they reappear...just be aware that as with most forums there are the trolls who love to jump on a newbie asking a silly question as they see it!!! 'Search' is your friend.
  11. Volvic (or own brand) flavoured still water. Cool not ice cold as I cannot drink it fast if too cold. I'm doing 3 litres a day at the moment, on top of a few mugs of tea or coffee. Does the job for me but if I up the levels it has me peeing like a race horse for a few days!
  12. Morning, after work and before bed. Easily enough done. More than I do but they get 30-40 minutes of a morning and about 90 minutes of an evening.

    Medic needed

My GF is an Assisant Practitioner in a Doctors surgery over here...and she is saying get it looked at. The issues being the dirty water/bacteria causing infection and particularly swiftly with the temperatures you are in. There is the possibility of nerve damage and she doesn't like the way the pain is spreading. Normally it hurts when you do it and then the pain subsides.
  14. That is a top bit of advice, makes an already lively bike pull like a train. Why oh why did I sell mine?
  15. Aint't that the truth! So far my dogs have proved me wrong twice. Both times the fella I thought was ok, turned out to be a grade A a-hole, both times the dogs REALLY didn't like them. I now pay more atention when the dogs aren't happy with someone.
  16. Yeah I have two as well. One a Ridgeback X Mastiff and a choccie lab. The lab is a gundog in training and 4 years old. She is quite happily dispelling the myths of 'you can't get a choccie lab to retrieve/work' and also that 'you can't teach an old dog new tricks'! They are both a part of the family, I've always had dogs, the missus never before I turned up, she is railing against the idea of 3 though!
  17. Why the carbine over the TDR. Same gun in essence but for pest control the lighter TDR may be advantageous no?
  18. Fiat panda 4x4. Unless you have some serious funds I suspect the insurance will price you out of most other things unfortunately.
  19. World sea fishing forums (WSF) Facebook BuryHillBikers (BHB) Trackdayriders (TDR) PW Landyzone Veedub club Fireblade owners club Fly fishing forums x 2 Errmmmm, and several more, some hunting based, some biking based, some fishing based and even one beer making based...not to mention the biodiesel making forum....errrmmm.... I should add that I'm only really active on here, FB, TDR and WSF though!
  20. Hello Ben, welcome from another Sussex lad on the coast in Hove.
  21. Vale back at Honda? A step too far I reckon.

YESSSS! Back where they belong! Loving the positivity of the 'opposition' who seem to forget we were Premiership for YEARS and will be for years to come!
