We have a decent sized 4 wheel box trailer for the off road bikes and have had a number of them over the years. This involved a fair number of towing vehicles. Each time we have taken a log book and utility bill to the local spares shop. However, one of my staff had a number plate with dodgy spacing on his wife's car. Just got it off the internet.

NM05EMF - silver Honda. Whoever did the plate might have got mixed up.

You have PM.

He didn't just punch him. He knocked him to the floor and continued his cowardly attack. That is why he is inside.

Lead shot ingestion in birds
Gordon R replied to Conor O'Gorman's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
Joking aside, I honestly wonder just how they came to allow themselves to support the phasing out of lead, without any conclusive evidence to support it. Ed Milliband peddles the same "the move to net zero is unstoppable" nonsense. They just keep spouting nonsense and can't comprehend why people aren't convinced. -

Konor - that is too much like commonsense. The hole that BASC has dug is almost too deep for them to get out. -

I despair of BASC, sweeping generalisations about how attitudes have changed and no-one can challenge the science etc. There is a parallel universe somewhere where the BASC line, as peddled by one member, makes sense and will stand scrutiny. Sadly it isn't this universe. -

Konor - if this was a boxing match, the referee would have called time, as Conor is taking a real beating. I no longer read his posts, as I blocked him, due to unwelcome and repeated personal messages, which I found offensive. However, I still get quotes cited by others. -
If you don't put a price on it, the Mods will remove the advert.

The hierarchy of the Police are to blame. I am sure the rank and file Policeman / woman would be embarrassed in having to do such a visit. They do a thankless job, get criticised from almost all quarters, rarely get praised for serving and protecting and then get headlines for one incident. Whilst it clearly wasn't fair to the grandmother concerned, it isn't fair to the majority of the Police Force.

My father in law was one of eleven children in Liverpool. By marriage, I am related to a sizeable chunk of the Liverpool population. At one wedding, one of them said half the door staff in Liverpool were relatives. Been to many weddings, but also quite a few funerals. At the majority, You'll never walk alone, by Gerry and the Pacemakers was played. Almost guaranteed to bring a tear to any eye. Although I was never a fan of Gerry Marsden in his heyday, I saw him a few times in later years. Excellent live act, albeit the Pacemakers - Freddy Marsden, Les Chadwick and Les Maguire were long gone from the group.

I have had a full read of their services and background. I have just realised who is running it. I know him. I thought he had a bit more about him.

They claim to be expert instructors, but where did this rubbish come from?
-
It sounds a bit amateurish to me. I did wonder how long the certificate was "valid" for. Would there be a refresher course after a year, at a mere £199?
-
Whatever it is, it's free. Read the rules, stick to them and be grateful it isn't emptying your wallet.
-
Anyone had any dealings with this company. For £199 they offer training to prepare you to make a shotgun certificate application. Given the waiting time for an initial grant I am not convinced about the value. It might be a brilliant service, but from what I read on their Facebook page, I could probably teach someone the same in about 5 minutes. Views / reviews welcome.

He posted the wrong photos - hence my B325 comment.

B125 Grade B or C.

Got to agree about a binge watch. Did this with Mr Inbetween - watched three series in two evenings. 🙂

ditchman - I think you have a point. Last picture looks a far older forend with the B125 latch.

Looks like a B325 grade 5.

Ukraine was USA's Cuban crisis. Having a nuclear power on your doorstep. The main blame clearly lies with Putin as Russia invaded another country, under whatever guise. However, Biden almost invited them in and Zelensky rolled out the welcome mat by stating he intended to join NATO. Whilst Trump has his critics, it all boils down to the USA saying they will not continue to bankroll Ukraine and Europe, without a return and Europe paying its fair share. It's hard to argue against that. Given the amounts involved and Ukraine's record for corruption, it would not surprise me to see Zelensky under investigation when peace does come. PS - amateur - nice Orwellian touch.

Sadly for Starmer, Macron is going to the USA first. I find it mildly amusing that Starmer is rushing to place British troops in Ukraine, whilst at the same time undermining Trump's suggested deal. Starmer's proposal hasn't been agreed by the European leaders either, with Germany slating it. Desperately floundering to be relevant and failing.

Raja - after this post I will block all your posts. Lucy Letby has not been settled, so it's a bit early for pathetic gloaters. You talked down to NoBodyImportant and made a fool of yourself, as usual.
