Four trapped by my friend, then out into another wood with another friend. He shot two at one end and I had one at the other end of the wood on a feeder where this Red had been feeding.

Spot on! Reds are important but throughout the UK trees are being mutilated and killed. I took these photos in Kent last month when I delivered a British Red Squirrel- Grey Squirrel Management training course to the Kentish Cobnut Association, where their Cobnut crops are being devastated by Greys. This is an English Oak tree, probably 20-30 years old ago was on the edge of a Cobnut Plat.

Met a guy this week who is shooting near me. On three different sites he has shot and trapped so far 136 greys! We must be making a difference.
