  1. I guess you are right. The days of plodding along doing your own thing and assuming you will left too it are gone. There are people out there actively try to stop it all. The countryside is a shadow of its former self and not for the better. It all started with the hunting act and not just the fox hunting but the lurcher chaps and hare coursing. We used to have some cracking game fairs in the this area. Lovely little country shows with bit of lurcher racing etc. All long gone. Now a days walking down the road with a shovel over your shoulder and a ferret and lurcher in tow you feel like a criminal. The whole country has shifted with all the small farms long gone and bought out by the big guys with there industrial size milking setups or bought out by town folks. The amount of wild life has also declined with now in this area we have loads of foxes, rats and bloody badgers. The badger population is through the roof here now at stupid and to be honest dangerous level where letting my dog off during the day in certain fields is best avoided
  2. Got an old nissan primera at moment the engine is bomb proof just that age now where other bits go. All ways a worry getting a motor. Hate it lol. I all ways worry about these more modern engines too

  8. Well I took it to another shop in my area and he charged £50 took 4 days to order the part and fit it. Had it on the pigeons this afternoon and it was flawless. Well chuffed. I pulled off some great shots at least for me and it was a pleasure to use. So much prefer it over me hatsan semi which seems so bulky in comparison. I love it. Am I allowed to name the shop ? Be nice to give the fella a bit of support
  9. More likely to get a working bred dog at a sensible price than some one breeding as pets
  10. I have one of them plastic jobs on a bit of string. You pull the string and the wings lift. Got it off an old friend. It must be donkeys years old. All you need I think is just a little movement to catch there eyes then the decoys do the rest. I also have the ff6 which does basically the same job but automated obviously
  11. I have known a couple of people who were stuborn smokers and when they get that bad news hit them. I am pretty sure both of them wish they made the choice and got more years with there loved ones bless them. Bloody tragic. You may not get a second chance and there is no going back

  19. I will do thank you. When you say a service. What exactly does that involve. Is it just cleaning? I really enjoy the gun and hit far more with it than my hatsan semi.

  21. ah that spring might be the top lever spring. Just got figure where the bits go and the fact they fell out is that normal or would be why it wasnt working ah the pointy rod is the top lever splunger
  22. Ok I bit the bullet and took the stock off 3 bits fell out a pointed pin. Fire pin I take it. Little block with a dimple in it. A spring I can see the top lever moving but no sign of a broken spring, Also how to get it back together
