Never a wasted trip Rob. Any plans for another dog ?

About 4 years the diseases swept through and now rabbits are a good 80-90 % down and some spots are absolutely devoid with not a single rabbit. It is really sad. The fields are just not the same with out rabbits

Been my first season and shooting ducks geese inland. It has been amazing wish I started 30 odd years ago. The sites and sounds on a dawn flight or in full moon are just amazing. Find them hard to hit for some reason though. I am ok with pigeons but despite the larger targets I have not been very successful. I guess it is getting used to a no3 steel compared to a clear pigeon. Still managed to get a few in the freezer though and I love duck

Keep door knocking too. I know it is not fun but you will get a surprise when some farmers will pretty much dismiss you and say yea yea crack on help your self. They are so relaxed and nice about it. Then you get plenty the other way. Keep at it

Buy half dozen decoys find some pigeons and go try it is best. Harvest time is the best here but you can find them feeding on freshly sown stuff at least around here. The farmer sowed peas once and left them on top. The pigeons went nuts. Scouting is the biggest thing

When I email them they reply the same or next day. When I sent my licence in to updated as i used all my slots because the wife makes me keep buying guns all the time they had new one back with in the week
