It would be boring if it always worked

Typically since duck season ended it hasn't stopped blowing a gale and lashing down with rain. Looking forward to a pigeon or two but very thin on the ground and for the most part a waste of time sitting in a hide with a 60mph hour wind and driving rain that is forcast for the weekend -
Also accessibility. I can get access to a few geese inland though to be honest trying to figure them out after the harvest is mission impossible lol. But its easier inland to find a permission where as joining a club you need a dog etc which i don't have. Basically I frown on any snobbery there should be no them and us rich and poor. We all enjoy our own little outings and long may they continue .

That is true I bagged my first Canada last autumn and took a load of trial and error to get in the right place at the right time. It was hard earned and a never forgotten experience

Sent my choke away tonight. Was surprised he said not to put steel through them though. So going to have to get a box or two the bismouth for the quackers. Be handy on the pigeons though save waking the farmer up -
They enjoyed them selves as long as birds don't go to waste we shouldn't be judgmental. Lucky **** to have such grand spot

Any advantage to have a fair few decoys for ducks in a splash ? I can imaging with geese at least canada's once you turn them with a call. If they see 30 decoys instead of 6 it would be an advantage. Not sure about ducks. I notice the Americans have loads out but they have large numbers. Any thoughts ?

Excellent what a good ending. A goose against the night sky or a duck for that matter is a beautiful sight

Well if I had to choose between being a drinker or a smoker from a long life point of view it would be the drink for me. This is from some one who's old man drank him self to death. As it is I don't do either. I could still drop dead tomorrow. Life is a lottery but smoking is one of the worse things you can do I reckon to stack the odds against you. I don't care what others do and don't want to deprive any one of what they enjoy. But I have seen a few times the devastation and heart break the big C can have and wouldn't wish it on any one
-
Being a raging alcoholic may kill you but in moderation it won't. Smoking on the other hand may well do
-
It would certainly cut it down. Save the nhs few bob too and I know it genrators lots of tax income which is probably the main reason its not banned
-
It should be illegal it kills and thats a fact. Known 2 good friends who got the bad news and were not around for long sadly. Both hardened smokers who would all ways think its fine and my choice to smoke. But I bet both if they could go back and quit and get to still be with the love ones would do it in a jiffy. When you get that bad news there is no second chance 😞 You can't blast a duck with a bit lead because its so harmful yet you can help kill your self as quick as you like puffing away

What makes this gun hold such good value if you don't mind me asking apart from the obviously good condition. I have a Ugartechea I paid very little for so just curious. Good luck with the sale it looks lovely
-
yea thanks for that just double checking as I thought last day was Friday.

-
Dam does this mean I could been shooting ducks inland today ?

You were right there video made it easy to strip. Not much to them and look solid. I can see why they have a life time warranty on the new model

Excuse the daft question. So I send them a choke and for want of a better word they weld it on the end of the choke so I can just screw it on and change it like a choke ? Also whats a v3 choke ?
