  1. Sure, please PM me your email address. Thanks
  2. I bought this earlier in the year and barely wore it after I lost some weight. It's a large and measures 22 inches pit to pit and 27 inches from the shoulder to hem. It's in forest green and has a brown lining. As it's barely worn there are no pulls, tears, marks or bobbles. I'm looking for £35 which will include postage. I'm trying to upload pictures but can send by PM if required. Thanks
  3. I know this won't help but I put mine into South Yorkshire a couple of weeks back and it arrived on the mat 6 working days later. One of the rifles I already held was shown incorrectly so I popped it back in the post and it turned up corrected this morning. A grand total of 9 working days! I couldn't believe it, I was properly impressed. I'm not alone as others are turned round normally within a fortnight. Renewals can drag a bit close to the line and first applications I've heard of can take 8 months, but variations are very impressive so I'm sorry to hear others are struggling and need to chase.
  4. Easy when you know how - 1/2 and 1/4. With thanks to sabel25.
  5. I could find very little online about the gun other than some limited information about the 20g edition which simply said it was "standard chokes".
  6. Mark and team at Kirklees in Huddersfield get my vote - always time for a bit of a chat and happy to show you options or just something out the box if you want a nosey. Everything, but especially ammunition, is keenly priced and whilst the shop is small, they must have a tardis of a cellar as they bring loads up from there. They also aim to give honest descriptions of the condition of the large range of pre-owned firearms in stock which I find accurate so you don't end up with a wasted journey.
  7. Understood - I potentially plan to get some wall lining paper or similar to trace round and post it off. Thanks again
  8. You've a gap top right there - couldn't you fill it? Looks great though - what was the turnaround time? I can see you're Kent based so closer than me - did you visit to get the CAD drawings sorted or prepare these yourself and send across? Cheers
  9. They do indeed and I had another recommendation for them after I posted yesterday and have picked up with Simon there to understand the process given the distance involved. Thanks for getting in touch - much appreciated.
  10. Yes, I have considered doing it myself but having seen some other DIY efforts, I was put off by the end result which was very amateurish and spoiled the final look. I might have a go on a test piece first if I can't find a local solution. I contacted one place earlier and offered to provide the outline for them to upload to their CAD software but was knocked back after being told one of the directors was anti-gun! They'll laser cut for anything, except a firearm.
  11. This worked for me on my wife's recent 50th - I found a place that named a rose after a loved one. You get the rose bush delivered, a certificate with a colour laminated photo and all the bumf to read so you don't kill it. There was a selection of colours and whilst it might be just a bush out of their stock, it's flowering well in a pot and she loved it as I had it named after her late mum and dad - we had tears, the lot, and I had what I wanted cooked for dinner! PM me if you want the details as I'm sure I've got the receipt somewhere - you'll get change from around £45. Cheers
  12. Hi all, I'm looking to replace the foam inserts in my rifle case and have it laser cut in a high density format for a specific rifle and whilst I appreciate I can simply Google for options of suppliers, does anyone have any recommendations they can make and contact details? I am aware of the YouTube videos on DIY efforts and have seen some truly awful examples so would rather leave this to a professional. I'm based in South Yorkshire but don't have an issue dealing with a business at distance. Thanks in advance.
  13. In my opinion, neither will ever compare to Bon Scott I'm afraid, but glad things seemed to have improved since the chronic videos on YouTube I'd seen of them with Axl in the US. Just to think, some of the tracks with Bon Scott are now 40 years old and still as fresh as ever.
  14. Mel, The bolt holders arrived today - stunning quality and value as ever. Thanks to both Lin and yourself. Regards
  15. Hi Mel, Are the bolt holders still available to order? I'm looking for at least 2 at this point. Happy to PM details if so. Cheers
  16. Hi, I'm selling my MTC Mamba which was bought around a year ago and used on my CZ455. I use the rifle sparingly now and hence why I'll also be selling that separately in the next few days. I'm having the usual problems loading photos but can email them if required. The scope will come in the original box with all bits and pieces that it was supplied with. It has an illuminated reticule but I've never used this. I'm looking for £160 to include postage or it can be collected from near Doncaster or discuss options to meet locally to drop off. Cheers
  17. No you're not having a senior moment as there is no full online purchasing option. The contact page offers their purchase options by email, phone, etc as well as their restricted opening hours. Whilst the purchasing ability might not stretch to adding something to a basket, I've always found the service to be great, but I do benefit from also being able to call in during their opening days. Best advice I can offer is to email them to place the order (I have heard others have experienced delays in response and depending on what day you email them) or preferably call them Thursday to Saturday. You'll probably speak to Sheila and she's always been very helpful and delivery is quick when items are in stock. Persevere, as I think you'll be happy you did.
  18. I enjoy the programme because of the guts and vision of the owners but question Gorgeous George's value to their efforts. It's particularly tiresome watching him cock his head on one side as he heroically reviews a set of drawings with a sincere pensive look on his face then add "you don't want to do it like that, I know best, not the architect you've paid to employ", before scribbling something on the plans. The only thing missing is a matchstick family standing outside the drawing of the finished home when he triumphantly says "ta dah"!
  19. That picture doesn't appear to be the Tactical model. Rimfire Magic (South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies) are stocking the one in the picture at £450 which is the best price I've seen around. http://www.rimfiremagic.co.uk/new_firearms.html Hopefully this link works for you.
  20. I'm also watching it under sufferance and thought exactly the same thing. By foisting those names on him you can't help wonder whether his parents would be disappointed if he became anything less than a poetic musician. I know I felt that way when my son Horatio became a builder............
  21. I've also seen first hand issues with older (not used for a while) ammo where the powder simply seems to lose it's 'bang'
  22. Did you? I used to drink in there a fair bit early eighties when working in Zodiac House. Happy days!
