  1. I have a 20g and it is very quiet compared to a standard with subsonics. Never tried 12 but 410 is very quiet. Going by these I would think the noise would be reduced a lot on a 12 aswell
  2. Brilliant. My wife is a teacher I will have to get her to read this
  3. The cover was that thick. I reckon I could of hid a horse in there🤣
  4. Well done mate. Dad and my mate found the other this morning. Not sure how we didn't last night
  5. Another night out. Managed a large vixen tonight. Came into the call dropped from all of 15 yards. Then on to another spot this time bought another in to vixen call. But spotted me trotted off up a bank. Hit it on edge of a thick bramble patch which it made it in. Had a good look with torch but no luck😡 will try to have a look in daylight. Seeing a few about at the minute. With one more shot Monday night
  6. Be worth trying one Steve. I think they are more set up for prone shooting if that is what you do.they had lots of adjustments for length and height but just seemed like my head was off line with sight. If it was a shotgun it felt to straight. Definitely worth trying first mate
  7. You need to shoulder one first Steve. I was going to buy a berserk for my T3 but when I tried one it was not great if I am honest. But may fit you different. I could not get a great position on the scope
  8. My o/u has holes drilled all the way down the barrels. I would imagine yours is the same with mod off. Good luck getting it off if you haven't before
  9. To be fair I don't know anyone else who would of got them in like that last night. It was tough going in January with old dogs and a full moon. But that is what years of messing about after dark has taught me lol
  10. Well done mate good bag of rabbits. Went out last night on our small syndicate. Full moon and four noisy men was not the best. I positioned us under thick est hedge. Ten minutes of calling and I brought in a nice size dog fox to 60 yards Then took all of us under next pen. Set everyone at the bottom of the hill. I started calling and immediately had a fox run in from cover not 40 yards from us. But saw us and took back into the wood. Left it a few minutes and started calling again. This time brought one in from behind us. Simple shot at 50 yards and another dog down Left the shoot then and on to a new patch that has had a lot of bramble cleared. With a fox being spotted there in daylight. I was confident although the conditions were terrible. Ten minutes of calling and a very cautious fox entered the field. Dropped by little hmr to finish a successful night considering the conditions. My right hand needs a patent lol
  11. Sounds like you have a good night planned on the rabbits. Got to admit the foxing is what gets me motivated. Been shooting since I could walk and took so many different people out with me and taught them what to do who were slightly clueless. But soon become experts in a year with nv etc lol. I do laugh at some of the things I hear and ways people go about the modern foxing. But as you and I know if you took the gadgets away they would be lost. Where as the likes of us can pick up a fox without all that. I am sure you will get in amongst them soon as you always do. You can have all the gear but knowledge and experience will always come through on tops and I can gaurantee you will be getting a few soon
  12. Keep at them mate. Weather has been poor down here either bright moon or torrential rain. Got a few to go at the next week or so. Got a new permission with a lot of damage being done so should get some reports up soon.
  13. A mate of mine had one years ago. That is a real man's gun 😂
  14. Keep going mate you will be surprised. I started of clearing rabbits with a airgun and other pests as a kid. Would ferret in the winter months. You will find once you have one piece you will get others. I probably have too much for myself to cover as I would like now.
  15. Had both no comparison. Can't see how a photon will sell now the pards are here
  16. Now is the time mate. Another month and there will be young everywhere. With it being mild
  17. That is a great target. May have to have a play in the workshop and knock one up
  18. You need someone with a rifle dave😉
  19. Sounds good hopefully you will get on there. Had one last with my mate on the back of atv lamping rabbits with shotgun. Will have a good go next week see what's about Well done cragman sounds like a tricky customer
  20. Good shooting mate. Easy to lose them at night. I have walked right past them then found them in same place with terriers next day
  21. I will remind you of that statement next time you shoot a load😉
  22. It is certainly a handy little tool mate
  23. Had a quick look about on one farm last night. First time out for a while at night. Used little hmr and pard008
