Had a German shepherd once just nipped a child it was like a love bite. Took it straight to the vets for a injection . The girls parents were annoyed I put the dog down yes it hurt to do but could I put any child at risk?

Yes it does happen a foster carer was arrested and spent several hours in a police cell for a false accusation being made on him. When the police checked his old diary/log book they could see it was lies as he was somewhere else for that week and the girl was not any where near him. Worked on Andrew's and Fergie's wedding driving a coach around with police and the weapons they had. Had a great time driving around not stopping at any light's as police bikes in front same as trooping of the Colour.

Hi Chris The right knee is getting a lot worse so may need to consider having that one being replaced then redoing the left one again. But I am worried that both will get worse after any operations so i am trying to put up with the pain. Hope you are all fine and keeping safe went to my rifle club on Sunday got a text yesterday to say a person as now caught Covid So now am testing every other day as seen how the wife was when she became ill in January and the damage it leaves after you recover. Why not try a rifle range if you still want to shoot as we are all getting older. I am 64 one knee is metal and rubbish and they want to do the other one F O I still need to game shoot thou it is getting harder for the body to cope .

Meet a bloke on the course who is a plod he reckons that police forces will call time in a few years due to gun crime and not enough officers to cover call outs. So will have to see if it goes pear shape.

HI bluesj Course was with the British deer Society cost £100.00 and about one and half hours drive e/w. Have now learnt that RSPCA carry dispatch gun in vans. Good course but would i pay again knowing this NO Tried Sussex as well but out of borough.

Yes but Kent Police and other's had changed since we had booked and paid for the course that is why I posted this to save other's wasting there money. Why I wanted to do humane dispatch I do not like to see any animal suffer just because some one does not get paid.

Humane dispatch courses. A couple of us have completed this course in may at our own cost. We have applied to the police forces in Kent/ Met/ Surrey and the local Authorities plus Highway for England all are not wanting any one for Humane Dispatch. All the above Police Forces are using firearms officers and the RSPCA can now deal with this themselves. So it is a good course but do you want to spend the money

Met Police said I did not need it being put onto my licence after completing the BDS course. If you live in Kent Area me and a few others have sent out to various Council's and Highway's England and Police Forces for volunteering for humane dispatch. No response back from any so think again about doing the course and the cost.

So sorry for your loss never easy. Two ops for nothing but you tried and the dog knew that. That is what makes the difference and you done the best for the dog. That is Love and respect for a loving member of the family

Hi Chris Had a bone scan a month ago to see how bad the replacement knee is. The right knee needs to be done but it hurts a lot less than the left replacement . So will be cautious before any operation the stick is still going strong better than a replacement knee. Many thanks Bill
