  1. Thanks fellas. Sounds like they should be compatible.
  2. Dunno Scully mate. I was trying to find an answer before the morning and I was relying on the massive depth of knowledge on PW.
  3. Sorry. I should have been clearer. Will the stock/forend be interchangeable between these models.?
  4. Does anyone know if the woodwork fit is common to all the above guns?
  5. Somerset Shooting Ground near Shepton Mallet Brook Bank Shooting Ground near Cheddar Purbeck Owls Lodge is an hour away, as is Barbury Meadowcroft just south of Bath Gunsite near Marlborough Is doable plus Willoughby Hedge and Enford There are a number of small shoots which pop up occasionally so there’s no shortage of places to shoot. Gun shops are a good source of info, Coombe Farm Sporting at Crewkerne, Avalon Guns at Street and their Mendip store is on shooting ground just north of Wells. Depends what you want really, registered shoots or just playing around. You have a choice.
  6. Money? You talk about money when ordinary peoples lives are being torn apart every day. The pain, sorrow and suffering being endured in Ukraine is heartbreaking and almost impossible to imagine. I don’t know what the outcome of all this will be but sending jets to Poland will only escalate the war. Sanctions are far more effective and will finally isolate Russia and force an eventual end to this terrible, awful war.

    Sounds wonderful!
  8. Gunsmith told me this afternoon that stock spacers are like rocking horse droppings. He can't find any anywhere.
  9. Found one at Greenfields, Salisbury
  10. I know this is probably a long shot but I need a right handed adjustable stock for an MX12. Grade or condition is not important
  11. Basic slag was a by-product of the iron and steel industry and was an excellent source of semi-soluble phosphate and lime. It was used mainly on grassland and was replaced in the 1970’s by ground rock phosphate from North Africa as the steel processes changed. Farmers mourned the loss of slag as it was cheap and readily available, the rock phosphate was a poor substitute.
  12. Don't just rely on farm yard manure and compost for feeding. It isn't enough. Growmore is a very weak garden fertiliser and you need a lot of it in the mix of soil/fym/compost to feed the plant. Give them plenty of room to grow too, too close together and you end up with very small spuds. Buy the best seed you can find too, a decent garden centre will have what you want.
  13. Spuds are 'gross feeders' in that they need a lot of nutrient to grow successfully, particularly potash. Do your research on line for growing them on a small scale and there's bound to be loads of advice on here. A good fertiliser for them is 'Tomorite' liquid once they become established. Good old well rotted, farm yard manure in the growing medium is a fail safe and it would be impossible to use too much. Good luck and look out for aphids!
  14. Thanks for your reply but I have one on its way from another PW member. Cheers
  15. UK Gun Repairs, Taunton. 01823 433201. Almost certainly will have what you want
  16. I never cease to be amazed at the resources on PW
  17. I think you’re a bunch of masochists! 50gms?
  18. What on earth would you ever use those for?
  19. Thanks for checking. I'm still looking.
  20. Used to have one of these but do you think I can find it?
  21. Cpsa classifications have been a bone of contention for many years but, as has been said already, the system works broadly and its the only one we have! At least it allows anyone with a Cpsa membership to shoot registered competitions, including national championships, where they can shoot alongside world champions. I can’t think of any other sport where you can do that.
