My old spaniel is on her last legs and I will soon be thinking about getting a new dog, I am involved in a small syndicate but it's not a posh affair, I was thinking about getting a lab but I am really keen to buy an English bulldog obviously not for shooting but I would want to take him/ her on shoot days . Any days I buy I don't take a dog so that's not an issue, I feel Bulldogs are full of character but I don't know enough about them ,any thoughts, cheers guys.

Terrible news, I ave a relation who has a friend that sustained an injury to his head from the arm of a clay trap that required brain surgery and major skull reconstruction, don't know how it happened but seems that safety has been ignored at an organised clay shoot, perhaps a safety marshoall should be compulsory on each stand on big clay shoots.not good for the sport.

I have had that and I really sympathise , it feels like skin has been peeled off, think I put aloe Vera on it and within 2 days all back to normal, burnt ankles blooming hurt too.

I live near Chichester , been there. Few times ,found them expensive, fair range of shotguns but hardly any rifles, I rather travel to Salisbury and go to Greenfields .
