  1. Hi all sorry if this has been done to death. I'm after a semi auto it will sit on a rest on the quad ready to use as I drive around. The ground is rough and very muddy so the gun will get dirty. Can you recommend a reliable sa that can cope with dirty conditions and doesn't cost the earth as I don't want to put a £1000 bennelli through that treatment. Thanks
  2. Hi I have an mains electric fence unit that whilst working seems low on power i don't think its the fence as it's only a short run and has got new wire and insulators. The unit it's self is an electric Shepherd and the power on light is pulsing not the pulse light does anybody now if this means the unit is faulty. I have tried disconnecting every thing from the unit and it still doesn't this. Thanks for any help

  4. Inch high at 100 metres slightly lower at 200 i don't shoot live targets beyond that

  8. There's lots of talk about wolves and big cats frolicking through the countryside. There's also lots of trail cams,so we're are all the pictures of these animals ?
  9. When I applied for my first firearms certificate the feo asked about experience and I told him I had used my mates rifle under his supervision. Good he said because of this previous experience no problem getting a centerline rifle from the start.

  14. I would go fixed choke I have a multi choke and rarely change them. You still have to remove and clean multi chokes so they don't get seized in the barrel. For someone who shoots at my skill level if the gun is pointed in the right direction it hits its target I'm sure that more skilful shooters might benefit from multi chokes.

  18. Has anyone on here used a Steiner scope and if so what kind of quality are they I'm after a 3 X 12 ish 56 ir scope which doesn't break the bank? I saw this and thought it might fit the bill Steiner Steiner Ranger 4-16x56 Rifle Scope - Reticle 4A-I

  20. Spoilt myself with this little beauty Sako 85 varmint .223 ,Schmidt and bender, ase ultra mod. Shooting of the bipod about an inch groups at 100 yards with factory ammo.Just loaded some 50 grain vmax lapua brass. Weekend can't come fast enough to try them out.
  21. Hi all I would like to have my driveway lights come on when my car approaches so I can safely reverse into it but I don't want my lights to switch on when another car or person passes the end of my drive any ideas ? Thanks
  22. As per title what rifle make and model would you recommend .223 mainly for foxing with a bit of day time vermin control and a little bit informal target work ( plinking ) Budget of around a £1000 and would prefer a new gun ?
