You can get an extractor socket has a sharp internal thread on the inside.it should bite through the shroud on the outside of the locking wheel nut. I have used one when I lost the adaptor.

Nothing special about ammo safes made mine from a small hydraulic tank welded a hasp on for a padlock and put a cover over this to protect the hasp and padlock flo had no problem with this
