  1. I've just received the above bag, supplied by The Pigeon Shooter (Paul Hart) and it's huge @ 110cm long x 50cm wide. The inside is lined with waterproof material. It has a pull cord top and a mesh bottom to allow water to drain away. I bought it to carry my Crow/Pigeon decoys but it's probably still going to be a big too big, despite the many decoys that I own.

  3. If the carcass is left out, then one or two corvid decoys around it should work. I use Magpie decoys as well as Crows.
  4. The only way I have ever drawn Magpies in close enough to shoot (air rifle) is to put bait down somewhere. When using my centrefire rifle (.204) I put bait out at around 100 mtrs and wait.
  5. Thank you for the recommendation, I appreciate it. It's okay for me to say that the product I'm selling is brillaint, but to hear it from other's is much better. I will add that sometimes, I've used the lure in conjunction with my FoxPro caller and 'Rockin Rabbit' decoy. That way, the Fox get's sound, sight and smell, although the lure itself does the job.
  6. Recoil on a .223 isn't that harsh, especially if you have a moderator fitted. Hawke scope's are superb and the Endurance range are up there at the top.
  7. Selling on behalf of a friend. The above tumbler in very good condition. £70:00 inc pp.
  8. I have managed to produce another 4 (1ltr) bottles of the above lure. Excellent stuff with a brilliant success rate. £14:00 per bottle including 2nd class/signed for postage to mainland UK & N.Ireland.
  9. For Sale. In excellent condition. £15:00 plus postage of your choice.
  10. Totally agree. I have a S410 Xtra FAC and it's brilliant.
  11. Further to my original post regarding the NHS, during the past 7 months, I have lost 10kg in weight, despite not trying, and eating a lot of 'rubbish'. Within 2 months of an appointment to see my GP, he arranged for me to have bloods taken and also a full MRI scan, which has now been done. Thankfully, all is okay and nothing untowards has been found, although the mystery of the weight loss is still puzzling me and the doctors. I have nothing but praise for the NHS.
  12. You can use the Primos two point rifle rest which is an excellent bit of kit. I use mine now and then when not using the hog saddle clamp. https://www.bushwear.co.uk/products/2-point-gun-rest
  13. I agree with the above. I use a Solaris SRX with my NV (Vulpine Mk3) and it's excellent.
  14. UPDATE 2 HMRC contacted me again earlier and they are now cancelling the cheque that's 'lost' and will re issue another one in due course. The advisor contradicted herself on what she said to me this morning regarding the cheque being sent to Hidenda Tax Ltd, and said that it was 'sent to me' There's nothing in my bank statement/s showing this cheque. They (and myself) will also contact Hidenda Tax Ltd to explain the situation. I'm still annoyed at the amount that Hindenda tax Ltd are taking as commission but at least I will eventually get a rebate. had I known my wife was going to contact them, I would have stopped it and possibly contacted HMRC myself. Anyway, it's going to take a month or two to get this sorted, so I'll leave this on the back burner until I get my refund.
  15. The above for sale. Excellent condition and well made by a company spanning more than 200 years. Sell for £50 inc pp. (The money will be given to my mother to go towards the cancer charities that she is donating all proceeds of items that my father owned)
  16. UPDATE: Hidenda Tax are still contacting me with regard to me paying them their 'fee'. I went through all my bank statements, as did my wife with hers, to see when I was supposed to hvae been sent a cheque by HMRC for £989:76. We could not find anything and after contacting HMRC this morning (57 minutes on hold) I spoke to an advisor who checked everything. She informed me that The cheque was sent to Hidenda Tax on 30th August 2022 as they were 'acting as my agent'. She said that they (Hidenda Tax) should take their commission and then send me a cheque for the remainder. At the time of writing this, HMRC are looking into this further and are going to contact me later this afternoon. I'm bloody annoyed that (1) my wife applied to Hidenda Tax without me knowing, and (2) Hidenda Tax have held on to my cheque since the end of August last year. I have tried contacting Hidenda to no avail. Watch this space!
  17. I used this company https://riflemags.co.uk/smith-wesson-s-w-mp15-22-magazines/ to purchase spare (25 round) magazines for my S&W M+P 22 rifle. Is this the company you dealt with?
  18. Apparantly, my yearly state pension (£9784:80) is being taken off my personal allowance of £12750:00 so I will pay tax on everything above £2965:20. I suppose it works out the same(?)
  19. I decided to draw my pension straight away. Knowing my luck, I'd drop dead within 6 months.
