  1. If using the Silensave, the hot gases 'bake' the spray onto the metal surfaces. Tests have been done to prove that it works well.
  2. After cleaning my moderators, or when using a new one, I spray 'Napier Silensave' inside it. It's supposed to protect the internals.
  3. I have purchased sample pack/s of the above. These are .217/5.51mm and are 21gr / 23gr / 25gr / 27gr and 30gr. If anyone is interested in trying them in their FAC air rifle, I can provide 15 of each weight. Price is £10 posted. I paid £21:00 for them.
  4. UPDATE 3 & 4 I had another email earlier this morning from 'Dale' and the 'company' stated that they were 'honest'. I replied, 'Of course you are, and I'm the Pope' Another email just arrived from 'Dolly' who apologised for the 'delay in them delivering my package' and they would 'like to offer me a small gift in appreciation of my custom'. I've pointed out three times that I've had a refund from my bank!
  5. I bought sand and dried it in the oven!
  6. UPDATE 2 SInce I've had a refund off my bank, I have emailed the 'company' asking them the whereabouts of my order. I had a reply whcih was full of apologies together with the same tracking number. I then replied, calling them all the scamming *********** going. A reply to that email was again, full of apologies again and offering me a 'gift'. I replied once again with a few 'words'. I'm waiting for another email off them.
  7. Have they got to be Sportsmatch Lloyd? I know they are very good quality but I've used other makes which were 'just as good'.
  8. Thanks. I had a chance of 100 .338 Lapua once fired cases, but the deal fell through.
  9. He went and ordered a new Hawke scope yesterday morning!!!!
  10. I'll ask my mate later today as he was looking for a scope. If I don't get back to you then he's either got one or doesn't want it. If you get a sale in the meantime then no problem.🙂👍
  11. Personally, I wear disposable gloves. A bit warm in this weather though, but they work and I can also feel my rifle trigger etc.
  12. My wife and I, while on a mountain walk last year, stopped for a break. While sitting down in a grass bank, I noticed something in the grass and it turned out to be a Weasel. It was my very first time of seeing a live one. I've seen plenty of Stoats though.
  13. I have 10 bottles (at present)for sale: This lure has had excellent successful results on even the most wary of Foxes. A little goes a long way. Either spray some on bushes/grass etc, or pour some on rags and place in an airtight container, then just remove the lid at your chosen spot (it last longer this way too) Price is £14:00 per bottle which includes 2nd class/signed for postage. Two bottles can be purchased for £27:00 if delivered to the same address.
  14. Me too, that's why I bought a load back last year. I already have a few 100 rounds made up but the primers will always keep. I'm sure that one of my local RFD's advertised recently that he has plenty of CCI primers in stock. No good for Goldfish of course.
  15. I would have sold a few boxes to Goldfish to tide him over.
  16. I know it's no good to you but I have 1500 Large Rifle and 500 small rifle primers. Bought ages ago 'in case' stocks went low.
  17. Does anyone reload for the above calibre?
  18. I think you are on to a winner there, Paul. Good luck with it.
  19. An excellent idea. What speed does the decoy return?
  20. It's the same with me and South Wales Police. Since the 1980's I have always had very good service from them and also very good advice and help. Other's have complained about them, maybe with good reason, but I can only say about what I've experienced.
  21. Optics Warehouse are selling a WULF 1200 yd rangefinder for £149:00
  22. I have actually, and combined it with the CoCodamol. It does help a little bit.
