95% of Hawke scopes are calibrated for centrefire use.

If it is the scope, you can get it repaired/replaced free of charge. I had a 3 year old one that when adjusting the reticule, felt a bit tight. I sent it back under warranty and received a brand new 'next model' scope free of charge.

Amongst other various medications, I take Atorvastatin, which was prescribed (many years ago) for Cholestrol. When I have blood tests, usually twice a year, my Cholestrol levels are good. I have asked my GP if I could come off the statins for a month or two, just to see what the levels would be then. I explained that my diet has vastly changed and I no longer eat 'rubbish'. The GP didn't agree with me and said that taking them will do me more good than harm.

UPDATE: The electrician callled and I explained what I would like done. He agreed and said that he will add a few metres of cable and use an outdoor waterproof junction box which will either be fitted to the side of my shed (concrete block)
