  1. Yes it would be standard procedure for a bricklayer to lay a brick on edge if this gets you to the correct height. Some of the above answers are a waste of time and money when you can correct the level required with a standard brick.
  2. I just read it to my wife who has not got a sense of humour at all and she was in stitches!!!
  3. Absolutely brilliant one shot, very very well written.
  4. I shoot blue diamonds with a felt wad and I don’t find them dirty either, really good cartridge for the price and not punchy, will miss them now I have found out they are to be discontinued!
  5. Can I ask, does he need to remove his sunglasses when chasing a tennis ball and if he does need to remove them where does he keep them?
  6. Browning 12 gauge DS chokes full set of sporting from a Prosport. comes with choke wrench and case price includes postage £280
  7. My son had to pay £100 over in North Wales.
  8. Ah, it’s not the Mitch I know. thanks for responding👍
  9. The salt is in the brick, if they are clay bricks then it’s just a high content of salt that naturally occurs in the clay. It’s mostly caused by wind and rain, the rain soaks into the brick, the wind comes along and drys the surface of the brick the salt doesn’t have time to go back into brick so it stays on the surface, you can gradually reduce it by brushing off, this eventually keeps reducing the amount of salt in the brick, but very rare to get rid of all of it. It will disappear at times and then all of a sudden reappear. place a plastic sheet at the base of the wall and just use a soft brush to remove it off the surface, make sure you are careful to empty the sheet well away from the house. I have also seen people hoover it off the wall with Karcher type hoovers. good luck
  10. Then I must have a special Prosport, because I can release both strike pins without having any cartridges down the barrel, can you elaborate on the hybrid action this sounds most interesting.
  11. The trigger issues are mostly caused by not releasing the trigger correctly especially when wearing gloves, light loads don’t make a difference because the 725 has mechanical triggers.
  12. I can’t wait for the comments on this one 😂😂😂
  13. I have had the sporTacs for 5 years and never had a issue, quite comfortable over long periods, I would agree with Samboy can be a bit warm on hot days but I have fitted the replacement gel pads which are much more comfy than the ones they come with.
  14. My son paid £100 4 weeks at our local surgery, we are in North Wales.
  15. I took it to Malmö today for them to send onto the Browning gunsmith so should have a verdict within the next few days which I will post. Thanks
  16. Hi Agriv8 thank you for your comments, yes I do store the gun built and with barrels down.
  17. Hi Graham M, This pitting wasn’t on the gun when I purchased it new, this has appeared within the last 9 months or so, I have had the gun for about 3 years and have shot around 6000 cartridges, it seems to have puzzled everyone up till now.
  18. Hi Graham M Maybe they are, I have had the stock replaced due to a split across the grip, so will be interested once Browning take a look in the next couple of weeks. I am not dismissing Wymberley,s cavitation as this could happen if the area was put under pressure from the cartridge ignition?..
  19. Thanks Graham M, out of all the suggestions up to now i feel this is the most likely.
  20. Thanks Wymberley, I am aware of hydro cavitation but could you please explain cavitation where no water is involved?
  21. Thanks Cardigan, I will give it a try but I think that the pitting is too deep.
