Mine was a 1959 Venom, I bought it off a mate in 1968 for £30, GEC 227, nice bike to ride but the chain case was a pain to keep oil in. https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/?_ga=2.129041102.396586021.1591646070-1835468876.1591646070 This is your Clubman but it's not showing as being insured. My old reg is on a Mazda now. Viper was the 350, Venom the 500.

And I used to ride a Venom many years ago 😄
-
I owned an SM 610 Husky for a short while, fun to ride on the road but after 30 mins my backside had had enough 😧
-
It has Franchi written on the box 😀 The very first auto I shot was a KFC fitted with external chokes like this.
-
Yes the onus is on you.

Just use common sense, I've seen guns in racks taken out and shot by people who do not know who the guns belonged too, must have thought it was a try before you buy rack, this was at Coniston many years ago. Mines gone in the car boot for over 40 years at different grounds, if they cannot see it how do they know what's in the boot. ps, it's nothing to do with the CPSA.

Good, somewhere else to go, I'm booked in at Coniston on wednesday.

Do you really think that we are not aware Old farrier, it's been rammed down our throats for weeks now about keeping your distance and I would not shake hands to be honest, but life has to go on.
-
Yes, Old farrier, leave it there because you cannot win, I feel more worried about catching something at the supermarket rather than one to one meeting somewhere reasonably some where safe. I live in South Cumbria by the way.

I've been sort of following this thread and it seems that there are gun owners out there who are petrified to buy/sell a gun or anything to do with shooting without asking their feo, what is the world coming too? I only ever speak to anyone in authority once every five years. My advice it tell them nowt.

Latest clear guidance on shooting under lock-down

I've plugged motor bikes and just done it with air in the tyre as normally a pump is not carried on the bike. We went through about six co2 capsules trying to inflate it. Just make sure that you rough the hole up, but vulcanising should be done as soon as possible to be safe.

The three closed stands are on the right after the furthest tower stand.
-
Yes the grouse butt is quite good I just become bored to be honest, and they had to close three stands in the bottom of the wood last year due to noise problems but they are trying to get them open again I believe.
-
I go to Coniston quite often but it's very boring as nothing gets changed often enough, and as Scully mentioned there's a lot of going away birds. Westlands tomorrow for a change.

Honda CRV or Toyota Rav 4 as a shooting vehicle?
BlaserF3 replied to Salop Matt's topic in Motoring Section
I bought a 3 year old Rav4 2.2 diesel with 36,00 on the clock. I sold it last year with 112,000 on the clock, just serviced every 10,000 miles the most expensive repair was a cracked hand brake cable outer . 50 mpg on average good torque and very reliable. -
Gordon--the last Remmy I bought was an 11-87 Premier, it went through piston rings breaking and links like nothing that I had before, I do agree about the handling though. As a backup gun I have a 20 year old AL 391 Urika in excellent condition which I bought off Bryan for £500, it came in it's original case with all the bits. The only thing I have done to it was to change all the springs. I would have thought that someone like you with your mechanical background could tune a Teknys 😂
-
Do you not remember Duncan Lawton and his famous bag of spares which were brought out to repair his Remington between stands? Beretta 300 series, miles more reliable.

Mid-week shooting in North/West Yorkshire?
BlaserF3 replied to LeedsZeppelin's topic in Clay Pigeon Shooting
It is a good ground, but the targets do not change often enough for me or Will. -
Cumbria are short staffed and have been for years, my last two renewals have involved being granted a section 7, but there was no problem giving me one.

Never a truer word spoken Will. Waste of time going now, you might as well shoot Skeet or DTL now, what a waste of a ground for regulars. -

I've never seen floodlights at Coniston as they close at 17.00 on weekdays. -

Have you got Coniston mixed up with Crabtree ?
