I can imagine it just being like the BNP, they would say they'll stop illegal immigration, make a few other claims or promises but how much would actually get done? We couldn't just give them a shot because it could be a disaster, some will say it couldn't be worse, but it probably could be.

It won't happen, not all adults will get vaccinated for their own reasons, then you move onto kids, so there will always be unvaccinated people. This means your mask doesn't fit properly, I know a lot of people struggle with glasses and masks, if you had to do a face fit test for work or the NHS then you would see what a massive difference there is between the masks.

He definitely drove the Brexit bus, but could he run the country? In all the other time he's been in politics what else has he done? It's a bit like the Green party or Lib dems, the parties are there but what do they actually get done.

But Labour had the majority so Blair could do as he wished, Farage can get fired up knowing that nothing is going to come from it, it would be a wasted vote, protest vote maybe at best. Exactly, I've played rugby all year, but not really gone on the nights out, recently could have gone to Newcastle but I decided not to, now I haven't heard of anyone who went catching covid. But a couple of relaxed kids parties and boom. Wearing a mask is only an issue if people make it one, I'd much rather wear a mask at the shops than have another lockdown.

It's easy to sound good though when you don't have to implement anything, I'm not saying some of his ideas aren't good, but could he raise a party?

It seems obvious to me, if you keep your distance and wear your mask when you go the shops your reducing the risk. We weren't socially distanced at the weekend, our kids are together all week and now several of the folk who were out have tested positive or are waiting on results.

Farage sounds good, but he's never really had to do anything, I think he'd get found out pretty quickly

Still makes me laugh that the mask haters say muzzles. We followed the rules around mask wearing last year and I've noticed people wearing them again recently when food shopping, pretty much everyone without looking down beat. My Mrs has worked in a primary throughout and had several kids in her class go off with covid, we've more or less been waiting. But we were at a kids party Friday, then a Xmas party with roughly the same people Saturday( no cheese lots of booze) and surprise surprise we both now have covid, so I'd say masks do work. Keep in mind I get tested every week & tested clear Thursday

Well I've just watched part of the news and as much of Peston,,, as,,, I ,,,can,,, handle, so the story broke ten days ago, it can't have been much of a party if we're just hearing about it now. If it was Boris who was at the party I could understand the fuss, but it was probably just people who all worked together, same as the folk who still went to the pubs or shops.

I was going to say you'll probably find you can spot stuff a lot further out than you can Identify, but you'll learn what's worth looking at and what's not. Should have said that they show you stuff in daylight as well at distance that you might not have spotted as well.

It could be a dodgy camera, you have taken all the plastic off the lenses and sensors haven't you? @Walker570 is using campark with great success, I bought two mini ones a while back, size wise there great, but they eat batteries. Can't think why you aren't getting pics from your bird feeders, might be worth putting the camera on a pole facing the other direction, maybe the sun is affecting things? The duck video is very funny.

I've pretty much stopped watching the news lately, there isn't much happening that interests me, like this party story, it's a none story for me, just someone flinging more mud, because of this I've no idea who's still about and what they actually do, the tories have a massive majority so nothing will happen till it has to.

Let's be honest, if it wasn't for Covid coming along the tories were gold and couldn't put a foot wrong, helped by the fact there's no real opposition. Yes but...... Sleeze is always there, the migrant crisis has been ongoing for some time and we get storms every year, like others have said, what are the alternatives?

I've got a pair of Jack Pyke leggings with a full length zip, I've been through everything in them, I've also got a pants and jacket set, they are camouflaged but also great for beating in, there 20 years old probably now and still going strong. I'd imagine your going to get loads of recommendations for stuff, but I'd go second hand for beating gear these days. But that sounds good value.

Well said, I personally couldn't care less if people had parties last year, loads did, but it's gone now, I'd rather folk focus on what needs doing going forwards.

It just seemed unusual for a sparrow hawk being so high, you expect it from a buzzard or kestrel, it was no doubt checking out the bird feed stations in different gardens, it didn't stoop just floated away.

When I put my cameras out its almost always first thing that is busiest, often the first picture taken is in the dark, but like Nev says you might wait half an hour after sunrise. This way I know what time I need to arrive by to be in position, the camera will then show activity all through the day. It also depends how well you have positioned your feeders, are the squirrels having to travel to get to the food or are you bang in the area they're living? Sometimes though people post that there only seeing squirrels feeding in the afternoon, which will mean they are topping up before bed after fed elsewhere on naturals or maybe pheasant feeders earlier. Putting out a camera realy does take the guess work out.

The card takes the time off the camera, if you don't know how to reset it, then take a photo and see what time it says, then work it out. I generally find that mornings are best, but the weather will have an effect and make them arrive late.
