    Incoming........

Well that reads well doesn't it?? They could well be Brits coming home, but they should be straight into quarantine otherwise us all staying home is a waste of time.

    Lockdown

I hope I'm right, Sweden haven't gone into lockdown yet, Germany have really low numbers??
  3. Nobody likes a show off 😉 your going to run out of jobs, I've got weeks worth to go at.

    Lockdown

I've just watched the interview from early saying it could be 6 months?? With the number of deaths we're seeing I cant see that, Italy and Spain are getting towards a 1000 a day but thankfully we aren't anywhere near that bad. Unless things take a real turn for the worse I can't see people sitting in their homes for the next 6 months, I think that's a scare tactic to keep people indoors for another 4 or 5 weeks. Germany have done loads more testing, had fewer cases and deaths, could Italy and Spain's high numbers be because of several generations living together?
  5. You've probably left it too late today? The mad rush is over it seems, people seem to be behaving, although my mother in law said the same, went shopping after two weeks but was worried about going out.
  6. With 7 grandkids I think you'll be plenty busy and need the bog roll.
  7. Give it a month and someone might have eaten that alpaca, so don't play hard to get.
  8. Same here, only daft thing is making the NHS staff wait till ten to pay.
  9. That would be good, but everyone is too used to clicking the mouse and what they want arriving, far too dependent on things being made abroad these days.

    Lockdown

So what were the others doing on the bus? Dementia patients can hardly look after themselves can they.

    Lockdown

Surprising what a difference the weather makes, if this had happened in February with the rain we had everyone would have stayed in much more willingly. Only one week😧😧 imagine what week 6 will be like.

    Panic buying

Wife went shopping this morning and said there weren't any multi pack beans or soup at tesco, obviously making more selling individual cans. But we haven't bought anything different at all, might have got lucky but as yet there hasn't been anything we have gone without, hardest thing being keeping us all fed when were normally all out at work or school. Common sense isn't common unfortunately
  13. @oldypigeonpopper & @islandgun they sound like great things to do.

    Panic buying

Stupidity at its greatest, you think the foods going to run out so go and buy perishable food, not tins?
  15. I watched a video on adjusting the trigger, easy enough. The first stage is really long and the second too heavy. So stock off this morning two grub screw to adjust , first didn't do a thing and the second I adjusted too much so the Sears didn't engage, back a touch ok, still feels a little heavy. Hopefully getting the trigger better will improve the accuracy.

    Panic buying

Might have been Mel saying it was like the week after xmas on the bins with all the food that was thrown out, Muppets everywhere.
  17. I never understood the coaches of people returning being driven from airports to wherever they went, if they had truly believed this was as bad as they believed they should have been quarantined on army bases somewhere. I wonder if the drivers who couldn't wear ppe are ok?
  18. I've just had a look now, didn't really see anything.
  19. How are these things always filmed? That means someone stood back and filmed rather than helped? Or was it CCTV?
  20. Had it this week, only seen the clip
  21. I had a measure in the week and found I can get 40mtrs in the garden, if it's nice weather. That's further than I normally shoot with the .22 so thought I'd have a go, wasn't great, it was ok but it doesn't take much of a movement to send them wide. Back to 30mtrs the other day for a few mags, tried a few different pellets and today had an hour and a half trying some more pellets at 25mtrs, seemed to prefer the 4.52 pellets today, any make were grouping while 4.51 and 4.53 just wouldn't group, they weren't bad but the 4.52 were noticeably better. So next time out I'll concentrate on the 4.52, probably 😉
  22. Cheers. The USA’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) does publish estimates of the number of flu cases annually, including estimates for the number of hospitalisations and the number of deaths. The number of cases has ranged from nine million to 45 million a year, and the number of deaths ranged from 12,000 to 61,000. These figures suggest that over the past decade in the United States, the percentage of flu cases that resulted in hospitalisation has consistently been between 1% and 2%, and the percentage of cases that resulted in death has been between 0.1% and 0.2%. From the link, it's no wonder the USA is being so affected.
  23. Didn't realise that sort of number normally die from flu, it explains the flu jab.
  24. Mice!

    Why ?

It's still going because people still think going shooting is a reason to be out. I've read the post, in this case Cheshire police were sensible about shooting, but there was a walker, the shooter the farmer and 1? Copper all out because someone was shooting, how will the press report that, police time wasted because shooter breaks curfew, they won't give a monkey's about the crops.
