I also had a 692 black that suffered from the exact same problems. Other problems I had were double discharges & a repeatedly loose forend. I lost faith in the gun & traded it in for a Caesar Guerini, so far I'm very impressed. 2K will buy a nice CG

Three Optima HP chokes, Beretta choke key & choke box for sale. The chokes are in cylinder, improved cylinder (1/4) & modified (1/2) constrictions. I'm selling as I've changed over to Teague chokes. All of them have been used but are in good condition. I'm looking for £60 posted for it all

I had a Barbour Beaufort as a teenager. I got years of good use from it but then grew out of it. I recently dug it out from the back of my wardrobe & sent it back to Barbour. I had it repaired, lengthened & reproofed. It's now as good as new Maybe something to consider
