Her appearance on BBC news was comical..

I’m starting to process more and more rabbits now that spring is here (apparently) and have noticed that my Mora knives need sharpening quite frequently (I’m a bit ocd about having a razor edge). I use nylon chopping boards for the first stage of processing before the housekeeper allows me into the kitchen, could these be the problem? Any suggestions for chopping board material (to be kept in an out building so cheap is good)

Do you guys find the HMR needs to be re zeroed after cleaning? This is why (on advice of shop) I clean my gun every 200 rounds or so with a pull through..
-
I just use a 17 pull through, isn’t this enough?

Are these guys really as stupid as they seem inclined it wish to appear? The Conservative party seems to be doing a pretty good job of screwing things up and as expected May is proving to be a weak and uninspirational leader giving Labour the opportunity to engage and broaden its footprint yet they insist in giving air time to such vacuous morons as Abbott..

I had a 987 gen 2 boxster S, cayman R and 997 gen 2 911 and to be quite honest the most fun of all was the boxster S and it’s the car I miss the most. All very reliable the thing to remember is running costs aren’t low but the two year servicing interval makes it not too painful. You will find that people who see Boxster as the poor mans 911 don’t know how to drove them properly or just quote clarkson. Cayman R was run but ride too severe for our roads, the non R Caymans I found dull compared to Boxster, 911 was fab in sport and super sport modes but the problem is the cars are so flipping good they are only fun at licence losing speeds...

BASC statement on Home Office proposals
PPP replied to David BASC's topic in General Shooting Matters
Reading between the lines there is no clear legal route without avoiding a costly dispute st this stage until such time as the decision is made and it can then be challenged, not much more BASC can do YET, the real work will be done when the decision is formulated. I hope is costs do increase and medical is necessary then at worst BASC can negotiate service level agreements with issuing forces and 10 year licences as have been muted in the past... -
When I used to shoot duck I put non tox in the speed loading loops on the outside and in a cartridge bag if expecting to need more.
-
This is brilliant! Thank you! There is leads fishing line kicking around here!

In respect of insurance, most people have the liability cover required under their home insurance and are already probaknky doubly insured is BASC or similar members. Pigeons or game that I don’t eat or have freezer space for get given to friends and neighbours or swapped for beer in the pub! I can’t see how I’d be able to make visiting a game dealer make economic sense having seen the prices offered last game season.

I’ve got a Baikal huspower 410 single barrel, it’s awful!

I love my 9 shot semi auto as a hide gun, but it’s no way near as refined or pleasant to shoot as by OU or SXS, the trigger pull for a start is more agricultural. I’d probably use it for Clays on a semi auto day where you are presented with 3 targets and have full use of the gun but for normal days when it’s just two targets and two cartridges I fail to see the point. At a time when there are low recoil cartridges ( I suffer recoil despite having guns fit) I dont see why people use them for clays other than practice for pigeon shooting.
-
Excellent, thank you, I’m sure they do help but seem a bit of a rip off...
-
I see, I used a couple of (low level) full bodied decoys sat in the trees yesterday as well as decoys over backward OSR and it seemed to make a difference to the pigeon confidence, a few came into the trees, I’m convinced this will be part of my plan in the future.

Hi guys Any recommendations? Thanks

Interesting points, a couple years ago I was chatting with s buy side analyst for tobacco companies and asked his view on e cigarettes, vaping etc.. The tobacco industry doesn’t see it as a threat, the view is that people giving up via vaping would have given up anyway and many will go back to cigs, exactly the same as what they experienced with patches, gum etc..

Depending on what training the school has done you will be amazed how streetwise kids are. I can’t recommend ‘the two johns’ enough, it really opens your eyes, i was amazed and I’m reasonably up to speed on this stuff. Games are the biggest access point, roadblocks, fortnight etc are problematic if you don’t know the pitfalls.
