I've added my name to the notify list again this afternoon. I've been waiting for these to come back into stock for a while so I'm disappointed to have missed them again.

I'd avoid the purpose made slimming shakes. They are just expensive whey protein powder, sweetener and artificial flavoring and very rarely contain anything else beneficial other than perhaps some multi vitamin powder. I'd go down the route of calorie counting via an app and limiting processed foods. Many apps are available with MyFitnessPal being my preferred. Cut out almost everything with Birdseye or Iceland written on it and also anything pre-prepared which can be cooked in an air frier. Focus on non processed alternatives like meat, rice, potatoes, vegetables etc. Protein shakes can form a part of this method but ensure that you read the nutrition table and ensure you are getting the least calories for your 30g or so of dry powder. Some powders aimed at gaining mass can be in the 100's of calories per serving. Low weight, high rep weight training focused on upper body to avoid your injury will also be beneficial. If you've never trained before then it would be worth paying for a few hours one off with a PT so you can be sure your form is correct and your maximising the benefits from your training without risking aggravating your injuries.

Saw one in Dublin back in the summer who was quite good. She was playing covers of EDM songs using a Cello, Violin and a Cajon Drum with a mixing foot peddle to switch between the instruments and relay one over the other. Also singing a mixture of her own and original lyrics over the top. Quite a one dimensional act but certainly UK talent show quality. On the whole though they sometimes quite dire. I do admire their courage as playing an instrument and singing in front of a crowd certainly isn't something I have the talent or balls to do. Anyone who frequented Cardiff's Queen street in the last 10 years will be familiar with Toy Mic Trev who was famous for butchering hits through a fake, childs toy microphone. He must have been quite a character to have done that for well over a decade.

Looks to have been edited after the fact. As always, too far to make it worth it. Good luck OP. If the superlights haven't sold by Tuesday 23rd then I'm in the area for work and can do a deal.

Can you share a location? I would be potentially interested in the 21g cartridges.
-
When footfall drops and people shoot less then the result will be a drop in cartridge sales and subsequent price increases to account for the lower volume of manufacturing. It's seems to be a spiraling circle that only the manufacturers can control. They'd do well to keep control of their pricing and take a short term hit to secure their future. The current financial situation will end and people will start spending again but only if they aren't faced with their chosen club cartridge being over £350 per thousand.

Gamebore White Gold 28gm 7.5 Fibre Quad Seal
Poor Shot replied to Cawdor118's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
Seems like the shot is graded to remove the useful and valuable smaller shot sizes and the standard 7.5 gets whatever is left over. I opened up a Fiocchi TT1 a little while back and what should have been a 28g 8 shot had anything from 8's to 3's in it just like your white gold cartridge. Though the TT1 is a bargain basement cartridge so I wasn't expecting perfection. Didn't Gamebore change the white gold to the rose gold shortly after dropping the Gordon recoil system? Perhaps you had a late batch with any old trash thrown in. Unacceptable either way. Also potentially dangerous for clay grounds that have fallout areas designed for a maximum of 7.5 shot as the 3 shot could potentially travel beyond this and out of the bounds of the clay ground.- 27 replies

I don't really drink, Christmas and Birthdays aside. I find that the following mornings become following afternoons very quickly once I've come around and it's all a bit of a waste of the day. I'm usually up early on a Saturday and Sunday anyway doing something shooting or fishing related. I don't want to be sat on my deathbed wishing I'd spent less Saturday and Sunday mornings in bed with a hangover. Some may side with the opposite. Though when I do have a drink I love a guinness. I can happily sink them all night without feeling bloated or gassy. Lager leaves me with a headache and cider leaves me ****ting bullets the next morning.

I don't want to come over all traditional but I kind of agree. You can quite often get 3-4 shots at the same bird as it circles trying to get back to it's pond. It's not exactly sporting and frankly, boring. I'd much rather flighting wild birds into a fed pond or shooting them over the marsh. The latter especially is a lot more difficult and requires a lot more fieldcraft than being stood in field shooting at pet ducks.
-
Same question but replace grey partridge with Mallard ducks? Will we see a lot of traditional shoots move over (more than current) to the rearing and release of Mallard in place of Pheasant and Red Legged Partridge? I believe that the Mallard that exist wild in the UK and the Mallard that are reared are of the same species and therefore not a non-native species? They are also far easier and cheaper to rear and easier to hold in an area given they will often keep returning to their 'home pond' despite intense shooting pressure.

Magpie dropped from 2024 Welsh general licences
Poor Shot replied to Conor O'Gorman's topic in General Licence Discussion
Drip drip drip drip.. One by one they'll all become restricted and then drop off the general license in Wales until there are none left and the general license becomes defunct completely. Can BASC do anything about it? It's probably a huge waste of time trying to speak to those lunatics in Welsh gov/ NRW. -
Maybe BoJo, Sunak etc but not some self important boyo from the Senedd. He'll be lucky to head up his local allotment association now he's out of office. To the world outside Wales they are nobodies. They don't have the facilities while in office to award favourable national contracts or suitably change legislation to suit their supporters. Self important little busy bodies treating Wales like their own version of the Sim City video game.

Would you really want the job? Best years of your life spent boot licking and climbing that greasy political pole. Selling your beliefs and values for a shot at the first minister role. The eyes of the nation on you at all times and decisions you make crucial to the countries position on the world stage. Your name forever carved into history for the right and wrong reasons. Hair grayed and eyes disheveled from the ceaseless lurking of the media and the ever circling pack of wolves that are your fellow AMs. All that for a wage comparable to a middle to upper management role in any of the UKs larger businesses? Or that of a chartered surveyor or accountancy practitioner? There are easier ways to make a living which is why only the dregs and the scum end up in front line politics.

I signed, I've no skin in the game other than a hatred of the constant urge by councils to develop green spaces. It's a never ending battle where I live and they won't be happy until every green space has a house, supermarket or industrial estate on it. There are plenty of brownfield sites here due to the industrial past but they just seem to rot with little interest from anyone.

His wife is dead and his son is a convicted sex offender so yes the statements are true. Mark Drakeford has caused untold misery to the people of Wales both directly and indirectly through the policies of him and his party. Untold amount of people passed away unnecessarily due to his inaction and **** poor performance during his tenure as health minister and as recently as 2023 he and his party orchestrated plans to shut down a large percentage of the rural economy in Wales through the gamebird licensing proposals. As someone who lives and works in Wales and is Welsh I feel that Drakeford deserves a good thrashing. He's held nothing but contempt for his subjects and I'm glad to see the back of him. He and the Welsh labor party are no more than parasites.
-
Sadly, he'll be replaced by another labor lunatic that is likely worse than he was. Wales will never get a leader that we deserve. Good things don't happen to good people.. We can only hope that a Senedd election is pushed for and subsequently called as the new FM won't have a mandate to rule. What's good for the goose is good for the gander and all that.
-
Please tell me how you would tackle the issue? Given that we've already proven the prohibition doesn't work.

3.2 million discussing steel shot and choking, 0.6 million blasting BASC and the rest about red cartridge cases.

I'm sure 99% of people couldn't give a toss should someone else want to go down that path and ruin their lives. That's on the individual to make those life choices. It's when that life choice starts to interfere with the lives of others when the individual has to lie, cheat and steal from others to fund that drug or alcohol habit. Ask any tradesman who's recently had their van broken into and their livelihoods stolen just how they feel about addicts and other associated scum. Its rife just now.

British columbia only decriminalised drug use. They didn't legalise it meaning the control and supply is still in the hands of the criminals and the selling of drugs commercially remains illegal. The issues of an uncontrolled and unregulated drug supply still remain. In the UK possession of a small amount of an illegal substance is often served with nothing more than a slap on the wrist when caught which is effectively what B.C have done just unofficially. A quick Google reveals that there is only one bricks and mortar store in the whole of B.C that is attempting to sell drugs under the decriminalisation scheme but they are facing huge challenge In remaining legal.

It's cheap and highly addictive. It's apparently being used by some dealers to cut with other more popular party drugs. It ensures that your middle class, company director/ weekend wide boy keeps coming back for more instead of the occasional weekend and Christmas party 3 for £100 deal.
