Similar to StuartP, I always find the best thing to do is approach the shoot yourself. Ask around at clay shoots, game fairs and have a look on GunsonPegs, they have a section that lists shoots with contact details ATB Peely

Marks & Spencer Italian Moleskin Jeans - 44"regular.
Peely replied to browning123's topic in Other Sales
Hi Browning 123 and Mungler, I was looking at a pair of these trousers today in M and S. Would these be suitable for wearing to a driven days shooting do you think? They looking like they were quite smart, but are they warm, water proof etc? Thanks Peely -
I always wonder how many people have crashed whilst reading the signs....

Hi All, I've been searching through all of the past posts on Steel proofing guns and I am confused - to say the least!!! I have a Lanber (I think it is an old 2097 with the scrolling along the side of the action??). I have had a look at the markings on the barrels and was wondering if anybody could help me. There is a marking that says '1200Bares', one with the letters 'BP' and one that looks like a shield with the letters 'CH' inside of it. Does this mean anything to anyone?? Just to add a curve ball in, I spoke to a guy at NWSS and he told me I can use any gun with steel as long as it is with a choke no tighter than 1/2... I have a box of Gamebore Black Gold clay carts and a box of steel wildfowling carts - both of them say the proof needs to be better than 900kg/cm2 or 3 1/4 tons per square inch and nitro proofed. The only difference on the boxes is that the steel carts say don't use a tight choke. I've had a look on the Gamebore website and it say's that the steel cart I have is OK to use upto a size 4 in a 'standard' gun, from size 3 and bigger the gun needs to be steel proofed. I have a 32g size 4 cart, does this mean that my gun is OK to use with this cartridge? Also, what is a nitro proof?? Sorry for so many questions.. Thanks Peely
