Hi gang. I have recently noticed that more shops have signs on the counter saying cash only. Any thoughts on this ?.

Hi gang. It amazes me how people won't spend any money on themselves because it would mean breaking into their savings. What are savings for?. I can understand having a few bob stashed for emergencies but some people don't want to spend a bean. Then they die and leave it for someone else to spend. Perhaps i'm missing something.

Yep. Took him to the vet today for a check up and he's fine. Got to have his stitches out next Wednesday.

He's doing fine thanks. Up and running about and eating well. He's got a check up tomorrow so hopefully all should be ok.

Hi gang. Somehow my 14yr old beddyxwhippet developed a twisted infected testicle. I took him to the vet and they castrated him today. He is in recovery and if he is ok i can pick him up tomorrow. If it had been a serious illness i would have put him to sleep especially as he is 14 but i had to give the old boy a chance.

Hi gang. Why is it when cars are being advertised on tv you can hardly tell what the car is because of the speed of the ad ?. Also they are always shown on clear open roads and never stuck in traffic jams.

I got a text on my mobi from my supplier to say that my 2 meters have stopped sending readings so they are sending a firm round to fix them. The firm rang me up to ask if the meters were accessible or are stepladders needed. I said stepladders are needed. They replied they will have to get on to my supplier for health and safety reasons. What a carry on.

I had 3 covid jabs when it all started and wont be having any more. I also won't be having any flu, shingle or any other jabs. I have enough poison in me as it is.

Hi gang. Just heard a buzzing in the bedroom and thought it was a wasp. So i got a towel to swat it and it was the size of 3 bees. I got Henry out and got him 1st go. I assume this was a hornet, can't show a pic as i'm not going to chance getting him out of henry. Any thoughts ?. Thanks all.

Hi gang. My mate has a problem with moles again. He has the usual mole hills but he don't know what these little mounds are. They have only just broke the surface so are not a hill as such. He does not think it is squirrels as the culprits are burrowing. Any idea's chaps ?. Thanks all.

Haven't seen any yet and i'm over the fields every day.

I've spoken to the service dept 3 times on the phone and found them very helpful.

Hi gang. My mate of over 55 years trod on a nail last week and died in hospital yesterday. I think it was sepsis. He'd only been retired a month. So be careful out there as you never know what's around the corner.

Hi gang. Been watching health inspectors visiting kebab shops. They bought 9 Donor kebabs and only 1 was genuine. The others were a mixture of various meats when they were supposed to be lamb. The dirt in some of these shops was disgusting not to say that some other eateries are any cleaner. But i for one will never eat another kebab. I don't eat chinese or indian any more for similar reasons either.

I've had 2 Hawke scopes and a pair of Hawke bino's in the last year and whilst there has been nothing wrong with them they were just not for me. So i will stick with my old Simmons Aetecs and my new Nikon bino's which are very good.
