  1. Yep robson's coming, Is your mate coming flynny
  2. Lowering the car is not the only way to improve the mpg. Putting the brightest bulbs in you can find will help massively , as well as increasing the exhaust flow with the biggest back box that will fit.
  3. Think you've misunderstood about the type of camping that will be going on
  4. The one thing I have learnt about medics is that you don't believe every thing they say and if you think they are wrong make a fuss. Some doctors think they are god and infallible. Undoubtedly there are some good doctors but there are some that need to sort their attitude out and not give the impression that patients are an inconvenience. There are too many people going to A&E for illness not emergency issues that's a fact but if you have no confidence in some of your GP's or can't get an appointment it seams to be the only way you can get a diagnosis and treatment.
  5. I'm in was a good crack last year just hope weather's better
  6. Beconase is the brand name for a steroid spray that is used for hayfever but the main component can also be used to treat other symptoms like asthma .I was skeptical about it and thought the consultant was off his head as he could hardly speak English and I had to get the nurse to translate what he was saying to me, but to be fair to him it worked and my ears have been fine since. I only went to the ENT clinic because I wanted my hearing testing as my missis reckoned I was deaf, turns out I can hear fine just not the high pitched whining noises. I got to admit though it scared me into wearing ear protection more as the ringing was starting to be constant
  7. I had a constant ringing/hiss in my right ear, I eventually went to get it seen to and the guy said try Beconase. It worked! I used it every day for about 3wks and the ringing went. I think that there was a swelling or something in my ear canal because I went swimming and when I'd dived down there was a horrible pop in my ear and my mouth was full of something rank and ever since then my ears have been fine. Best £7 i've spent in a long time
  8. I got a jack pike one for my cocker off the bay, am pleased with it defiantly keeps him warmer
  9. I haven't seen it what's he said about BTL stamp
  10. I bought a flat pack wardrobe and fitted cabinet inside that then just filled the holes and re-painted that section of the wall
  11. On the new builds I work on the boards are joint glued and glued to the joists, Only nailed around the perimeters. Since we've been doing that never had a problem with squeaky floors or bouncy boards.
  12. It's to hold the sides up if you've already dug the hole until you are ready for the tank. Usually you dig the hole in the morning, get it passed off by building control mid morning (if you have to) and pour concrete as soon as you can. The longer you leave the hole open the more likely it is to cave in especially with any rain. **** law a side collapses just after you have leveled the concrete base and tank is lowered in pushing the tank out of position. Just get plenty of water inside the tank as you fill up with concrete. It stops the tank moving and possibly imploding with the pressure from the concrete.
  13. My sister is coming for Christmas from NZ and wants us to get her a pay as you go sim card for her to use while she's here. Will a UK sim work in her phone as her phone is set up for NZ providers
  14. Have you tried asking farmers about repairing any wall gaps they have, nearly always some down and might lead to other things
  15. If you want to get the red plug out you'll need to warm the receiver end up as it's thread locked in. I used missisis hair dryer
  16. How many cosmetic doctors earn that and more
  17. A few of my mates are joiners and they're not interested in hanging doors in old frames in a house. Even for mates! They reckon it's not worth the hassle and can make the same money doing an easier job or they want £40-50 a door.
  18. I've just done the footings and base for an extension. The elec meter is internal in the original position under the stairs with the supply cable running through the footings under the base. I just put a new duct in next to the supply cable for just in case. The gas supply was moved and is now internal in the utility room with the supply going through the footings and base again. National Grid and Electricity Northwest were consulted and neither had a problem with meter locations or service runs. I don't know about other supply companies but they were both easy to deal with. I used Crown Utilites who were the cheapest, to install and connect the gas supply. There is a reg about how far down the side of a building the gas supply can be 2m max for a semi recessed box, at least that's where we have to put the gas ducts to on a new build. Might be different on a extension
  19. I've got a 1/4 and a 1/2 Briley extended chokes if you're interested
  20. I've started giving the dog Bravecto, it's not cheap £10 month but he's not had any ticks since
  21. Mines the same loves getting wet in the foulest bit of water he can find, then whines when he's wet and trys to rub himself dry on me. Until we get home and the hosepipe comes out then hides, wont come near. He's not right
  22. I've got one, It's ok can be a pain to get the gun in if you have a fore sight on as it catches when you put it in. I would just use an old cheap thin slip and put it in the decoy bag when not needed, and a slip is easier to clean inside afterwards
  23. I used to run a car up and down to London on a 50:1 mix smoked a bit but ran ok
  24. I've got a skeet, 1/4, 3/4 and full crio chokes and a key which fits if you're interested
