Technical hitch with certain primers.....

All of the above are worth considering but don't try to invent the wheel. Best tip I can give being member of gun club is to ask more experienced with same rifle as you what load they use for target or game. No two rifles of same make and calibre will shoot the same with same load (all down to barrel harmonics). Once you have your chosen load based on advise and loading manual, tweek the load (velocity) and jump (col) up or down and check groups till you get your sweet load for your rifle, takes time and patience but if you are anal about accuracy that's the best advice. Also don't forget lots of trigger time on the range will do wonders for your groups.

I have Anchutz .22 rimmi with 16" barrel. All the powder is burnt before the bullet leaves the barrel in anything longer than 16" so the bullet is starting to slow down before it exits, only advantage in longer barrel length is heavier gun hence more stable to shoot and will generally give you tighter groups at longer ranges, ok for paper punching but when vermin shooting you need all the clout you can get.

Selling my faithful Mitsubishi Warrior L200, here are the details :- Mitsubishi L200 Warrior Double Cab 4WD 2.5L (113), with Pegasus top in Moonshine Silver. Alloy Wheels and FSH (Mitsubishi). Mileage 113,000, MOT and Taxed till Sept 30th 2014. Reg 2004. Fitted Towbar. No damage except for 2 small dents at rear and paint scuff offside bumper. Vehicle has had lots of cash spent on it and is in excellent running order. Asking £3650 ONO, similar models on Autotrader are selling for About £3800/£4000. Hawkeye and I have been shooting together now for a number of years and even went to Wrexham to pick marco up with Mike.Wont be the same with hides next to each other with my lab Meg and Marco together,dogs got on well and shared endless retrieves.Next to Meg, Marco was my best pal and I went over to Mikes when he had him put to sleep, sad day spent over endless cups of coffee. RIP Marco old pal...... sad day. I know what its like to have your best companion put down as I had to have my last lab 'Moss' put to sleep and it took me 9 months to get another one,but with hindsight I should have got one sooner.

Had similar problem on my permissions as well, best investment was NM800 with red led.....they just cant see it.

I use 42.5grns N135 with 155grn SMK or Scenar and use it at Bisley to shoot out to 1000yds very accurately. I shoot Sako TRG22.ITs a load that most of my club use.
