Beardo
my mate bought the JP Hunter jacket and trouser - he loves them (they do look well made), and made no complaints about being out and about in the cold last night when we went shooting

vole
I have the Hunter jacket too.(is that the £50 one?) in Realtree. Its been great for all outdoor stuff. Really warm and seems as well made as much of the stuff in the shops apart from really top end gear. I just wish it had as many big pockets as my cotton DPM jacket. Fatcatsplat
Their gear is cheap and very good IMO. Everything i've bought of theirs so far has been practical, functional and well made as well as very competitively priced

Windy
I've got the realtree para smock.....top bargain from a game fair. Well made and comfy. Nice loose fit, which I like. Room for fleece etc underneath.
windrush
Yes, I've got the camo jacket - bought it off Malc from this forum and it's surprisingly good for the price. Found some elasticated cartridge holders on it today that will come in handy. It'll get used and I certainly won't mind too much if I trash it. But for me, the big plus is that there's only one camo option in English Oak. I'd have spent months worrying whether I'd bought the right pattern had I gone for the Deerhunter Ram. You know, sort of like 'Does my bum look big in this?', I'd have been constantly asking people whether they thought the All Purpose or the All Purpose Green would have more appropriate for the occasion. Had it snowed, I just wouldn't have gone out for fear of being laughed at by small mammals.

bicykillgaz
i've been looking at these in my local boyes there only £50 and both look nice im not a big fan of there oak leaf design though even though the camo has the better range of pockets its got a big poachers type pocket at the back which can fold out and double as a seat. quality wise if my jack pyke waterproof fleece (two layers of fleece bonded with a waterproof glue) is anything to go by there brilliant, got mine from a jack pyke agent at a carboot/market type place for £30 and have had it three years and its still waterproof been through the wash (on cool) loads and loads of times and still great. if i was you though i'd get your self a jahti jakt suit i've had mine two years its great you can get it in green like mine or realtree, i got base thermal layer, mid fleece layer, a fleece jacket, waterproof trousers and jacket, baseball cap, detachable hood, mozzy headnet and a high vi-viz vest for £180 and quality wise its as good if not better than the jack pyke i've been looking, i've only been looking as i fancied a realtree winter jacket in fact im gonna price up just the jahti jakt realtree jacket my self im sure they do a realtree waterproof fleece too i've never even worn all the gear at once as its never been cold enough for me to the most i've ever had on is the base layer a jumper the fleece and jacket but had the jacket undone so i highly recommend it mate
bicykillgaz
i've just been on the arctic outdoor web site they sell the jahti jakt stuff and that suit is 189 plus 11 postage and you only seem to get one underlayer now with a fleece and jacket and trousers but still good to say the quality of the gear and i got mine 2 years ago so its not gone up much they also do a nice looking snow camo jacket and trousers and hat for 150 which looks good if anyone has a need for that sort of thing for stalking in winter in scotland maybe i quite like it but we never get enough snow to warrent it

Remington 1100
Hi I have the green hunters jacket its been one of my best £50's spent. I wear it lamping all the time. The only down side is if you get too hot it doesn't breath too well and feels damp in side. But easily the best coat i have bought, I am now a big JP fan !!!!!
