Markio
Thanks all for another good day - the banter and the shooting was spot on and it was nice of Starlight to turn up and represent the locals Exhilarating journey home with Mung and ME down the A12 - I doubt he'll have beaten PDLM's MPG record somehow B) Fantastic turn out which will take some beating reckon! Was Mung's bottom lip slowing the car down?
Bigweed
Excellent day chaps - just got in 2 1/2 hours each way for me but well worth it B) Is MC going to post the scores Edited December 28, 2009 by Bigweed
ME
Bagsy (once) and Markio (twice) both fell for the old "there's something on the back of your foot" gag. "OOOOO HELLO SAILOR!!!!!!"
Catamong
Yeah, great day out, I think we all had a good time. I was squadded with Bigweed, PDLM, Philr & Mungler and it's fair to say that each of us had their own "moment of glory" on some targets, we all missed a few, (some more than others). Modesty does not permit me to reveal my score, (I missed 3 on one stand ), and we finished on the High Tower stand, with some good high floaty targets that caught a few guys out..!! B) Here are some piccies: MC nervously awaits his turn I didn't realise they made skeet vests this big..!! Now that's how to shoot a semi auto Mung struggling on the dreaded High Tower..!! That look says it all from PDLM, "I should have stuck to after dinner speaking" Classic "Game Shooters" style with the little 20 bore from Philr Bigweed murdered the first two pairs out, then the wheels fell off..!! Some post shoot banter in the clubhouse Mung & MC were presented with some special prizes, an invite to join the CPSA, and a copy of MC's best seller, "How to miss clay pigeons, (my way)" No idea who this bloke is.....an honorary "Essex Gaylord"..?? Great time had by all. Cat

PhilR
Hi All, Had a great day out today with you all, missed a few clays and luckily managed to hit a few. I can assure you a fun day like this wouldn't have happened with my fellow trap shooters (miserable b*****rs). Thanks to Cat for the chauffeuring duties, but after his 'outing' at the presentation I felt safer sitting in the back on the way home!!! Mungler
Nice darts all round. I don't want to get all PDLM homo erotic hotel room about it but yes Cat is actually a nice bloke and good company to shoot with. Alas, I lost the will to live about 2 hours into the 3 1/4 hour slogathon. Journey back not too bad at all
MC
OK chaps, Sorry for the delay but i have only been in a short while. Scores on the doors are; Broken Man 82 MC 78 Bigweed 77 PDLM 74 (You really need a Blaser) Markio 73 Mungler 71 ME 67 Evil Elvis 67 Poontang 65 Dangerous Dave 65 Bagsy 64 Philr 63 (apparently he entered the ladies event) Sue Bear 62 (Well shot) Gram71 57 Bob300w 56 Rob 56 Gameclay 55 Paul 53 Lefty 53 Harnser 52 (You need a skeet vest mate) And winner of the Gaylord hat for last place CATAMONG with a blinding score of 48 (I thought someone said you could shoot...... Apparently not) Double Discharge29 (Ladies event and not been shooting long so under Essex Rules she was excluded from the hat ceremony) I am currently scanning the scorecards so that proof of the scores can be shown and not disputed. ALL scorecards were added up and auditted by Suebear so argue about them at your peril.

Harnser
A really wonderful day out with some excellent company and excellent banter . I was at a disavantage by not having a pretty blouse on ,sunglasses and baseball cap . Also every time I shot the sun was reflecting off my barrels and starlight kept grabbing my bum . It was great to see all the old faces and particulary Bob 300 W . Bob and I went round together and had a good old yarn . Come back Bob we miss your expertise . Thank you everybody for a wonderful day out , Oh ,did you know that MC and Cat are human , I was very surprised . Harnser .
Catamong
Here is the first and nmost important scorecard of the day. "Missed 3 on one stand", in your dreams Cat, what about the rest? It's easy to see how you Essex Gaylords clean up at every Biff shoot you attend, going round with a pocketful of pens and blank score cards...!! B) T'is disgraceful, hopefully Chard and the Northern Numpties won't need to resort to such skullduggerry..? Cat.

MC
Come on Cat, noone likes a sore loser, after all we all have bad days, just some are worse than others Here are the rest of the scorecards to show there was no cheating or skullduggery going on, And a big round of applause for the last placed experienced shooter Fairplay to Cat though, It must have been incredibly hard trying to shoot and put in a good score with PDLM hanging out the back of your trousers Edited December 28, 2009 by MC
Catamong
Yeah, good ole Pete was giving a very loud running commentary on every single bird I "SMOKED", (All 98 of them - he never stopped talking.!) Cat.
