I have no idea what romance is all about, but apparently the women love it. I reckon it's all about making as big a fool of yourself as possible in as public a way as possible. This is to raise money for charity, you pay £10 to enter and get a free Santa suit. So you get ~ 1000 people running round Princes St Gardens all dressed as Santa. All very silly but a good laugh and for a good cause. Before the start during the 'entertainment' one guy asked for the mike, called his g'friend up to the front and proposed! (She said yes). Nial.
