Gordon R
A few inches north of Manchester. Roads are bad. Compacted snow covered by a light fall - all getting a bit icy. Things are so bad, my wife says I will have to get a taxi to the local, rather than the normal white knuckle ride when she drops me off. mr lee
We have a decent covering here. Roughly 5" of it on the road outside. We live on a steep hill and the police have closed it to all traffic bar 4x4's. We got up in the vitara no problems. No snowplough or gritters yet either. Stranded cars galore. al4x
we had a bit here on Friday and its still about, snowed in till they dug us out as the drifts were too deep for the snow plough to get through. The dogs loved it though! Even if the cameraphone pics are a bit tragic

Frenchieboy
I've just been out to scrape the snow from the 4X4 so I can take the wife out and guess what - It's bl**dy freezing!!!!!! It seems that we had about 4 inches of snow that settled through the night here and there's ice underneath it, could make for some interesting driving! If I had my way I would go into hibernation for a while, well at least till spring!
