Blaser F3 - I have shot with Graham's (Gundeals) Blaser. Nice gun, nicely balanced, but I had reservations about the price.

I have owned a few Browning XTs, XSs - now have Miroku MK38, Beretta 682 E Gold and a Caesar Guerini. Do you think that they are a better gun than these - as Blaser cost a lot more. Derek, who shoots at Rishton, had trouble trading his in.

I am waiting to hear from someone with a Blaser on PW as a result of this post.

I will try John Forsey too.

Essex gun only have a Game version or new ones - I want a previously loved Sporter F3. :hmm:

@Gordon R - I had a Blaser sold it and now want another one. Other makes models arent a consideration. Thanks anyway.

Gordon R,

I paid £2,200 for my Blaser in 2006 and it came in a cardboard box with 2 chokes. Around this time A Rhone took over the distribution from Beechwood who were the original supplier.

My gun was one of the early ones with the sticking top lever which was made a little better under warranty, but it was never perfect, I had the firing pins replaced as well as they started to pit.

I asked if my gun would be upgraded for free as it came with a 10 year warranty but was told that it had to have a "service" which would cost me £100 plus vat, this was at Rhones place in Wrexham, I said that it did not need a service but they would not budge.

I was shooting at Westlands last year, with the Blaser when a bloke I had never met asked for a shot with it,he liked it and offered me £1,800 for it so I sold it.

When you think what I paid for it and taking inflation into account I should have got my money back, as I am sure that if it was one of the Big 3 I would have done so.

I must say one good thing about A Rhone is that he sold me a hard case for the gun at a good price and the work that was done on the gun was first class.

I found that most dealers did not want to trade a Blaser in for another gun or offered you nowt. But they are a nice gun to shoot, but I would never buy another.

I believe they are over £4,000 now for that price you could buy two Grade 5 Mirokus which I think are much better value and keep on working for years.

Like i said, try Trulock and Harris, terrible web site but they have a reasonable stock on display but from what i can gather a larger stock 'out the back'. Give them a ring first though if you have something particular in mind.

4 secondhand over and unders on their website, not even in Mungs league, in fact I have more guns than them ! :hmm::hmm:

You need to go.....Over 400 used guns on the shelf yesterday.

You are only trying to get me up into Suffolk so you and some of your good ol' boys can get me cornered and tell me what a "pretty mouth" I have.
