Not a bad looking gun that.

I sold my Beretta in the end because it hurt too much every time I fell over with it and I could have damaged it. It's much better to have something you're not afraid to use. I can hit just as much, not a lot but just as much, with my cheapo gun.

That one looks like a nice meet half way. It looks tidy but didn't cost the earth. A good buy I recon :good:

i think mung is a bit envious of my new purchase  its a really nice( for me anyway) fit and feels good. i remeber the guy telling me they dont make this model any more, so that might narrow it down. ill have a look at the numbers and bits in the morning and im sure you chaps can tell me ore about it that i can find on t'interweb. :sad1:

I would like to also add a big thanks to Magman, as he has been the guy pushing me (in a nice way) to apply for my SGC and FAC, both of which being granted. :sad1::good::yes:

If it fits ok it shouldn't hurt you. Those soft pads are really nice though, well worth a look!

The FAC/SGC experience is amazing isn't it. I remember the first time I used a .22lr, I couldn't believe what it did to the target board for the amount of noise it made. Then I fired a 6.5x55 and I was hooked! A lot of people say be careful when you start out but I actually thing it's very hard not to respect the guns once you see what they can do.

The eye opener for me was shooting an 18" long block of railway sleeper with the 6.5x55. At 50 yards the bullet went right through it, six inches of very hard timber, without knocking it over :sad1:
