Of course you don't need to show your SGC when shooting at Hodnet, you will only need it if you want to buy carts at the ground.

Cat.

It wasn't obvious to me??, never been there before, I recently shot at Bidwells on their Pub Challenge Shoot and every shooters' SGC number was taken either prior to the event on the entry form or at sign in. As we haven't completed entry forms just thought I'd mention it.

Actually, if I remember correctly, I've had to show my SGC at every commercial club I've shot at for the first time (appreciated thats only 3 places, but was still asked if I'd been before and on the reply of "no this is my first time here" I was asked to show my licence)

obviously, thats just my experience, I may just look shifty enough for people to want to check :good: .

If you are carrying a gun in your car you will need to have your licence on you 'cause if the pealers pull you up and you don't have it with you they can legitimatly take your guns away from you, but you don't need to show it at Hodnet unless as Cat says you are buying cartridges from them. from Auntie. Only a few more sleeps now. :good::big_boss:<_<

It reads;

North V South shoot it out for charity.

What started as a bit of web-based banter between members on the Pigeon Watch forums has become an annual clay shoot in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The shoot takes place on 29th of May at the West Midland shooting ground and will take the theme of 'North V South'.

''This is a day for people from all over the country to come together, put faces to Avatars, share stories, have a laugh and raise some money for a good cause,'' said Matt Everard, one of the driving forces behind the event.

Martin Harrison, another organiser, added; ''the amount of effort put into this day is reflected in the amazing donations already recieved - it shows a true shooters spirit.''

You can make a donation via the just giving website: www.justgiving.com/pigeonwatch

Good effort to all you sports men and women involved :good:

No, he had it right the first time.....North beats south, and the south then board their pony and traps and venture home with their tails (literally in norfolks cases) between their legs
