TomV
Im seriously thinking of getting a jimni, the only thing holding me back is the fact that there a bit girly and there so small, but apart from that there a decent car. jake824
Im seriously thinking of getting a jimni, the only thing holding me back is the fact that there a bit girly and there so small, but apart from that there a decent car. I've heard good reports about there performance off road we were out hunting last week and a lad turned up in one of these. he followed the quads through most places but did get her stuck on a steep bank going into a wood. the track was muddy and he only had road tyres on so with the right rubber he d have gone up it. i was very surprised with this little truck in the places he took it. Another lad there in a vitara would nt attempt some of the places but the little jimmy kept going fair play to it.
crazyfarmerboy
I would not be surprised in a jimny went to places a land rover could not go if it had the same off road tyres, just because they are so light, may need a bit of extra height but apart from that i think they are perfect hunting vehicles

silver_pigeon
Jimnys are fantastic! Recently changed my car for one and absolutely love it!! Hills are fun as it's only a 1.3 and you feel it at speed, but trundling around, in the mud and snow it is fab!!
rad334
We've always used suzukis for shooting, SJ's, Vitaras and a jimny they are all very good off road, you'll have loads of fun showing the landrover boys up! I will say the jimny is the nicest to drive and is a lot more comfortable than the SJ. Have fun
vampire
Suzukis are good for off roading undisputed and cheap, but just as cheap/bigger/less harsh ride, and will go anywhere, most important is the fact it has got to be the best shooting from vechicle available ,sun roof out, rear lid off,or whole back off,i have never had mine stuck through all the mud snow out on the farm tracks and they are fairly messed up at moment. This is just my opinion ,dont take my word for it though check for yourself, have a look on e-bay/auto trader, you tube,muddyfronteras.com :o

fortune82
Suzuki's are excellent off road. On the last day of the season I embarassed a so called expert in his disco! As he sunk up to his axles I ploughed on through in my Grand Vitara. Out of interest he claimed a disco 2 has automatic diff lock. I thought he was talking **** but is this true? Andy75
Scans from the latest thriller you're reading, eh? Lightweight and modern - Jimny's are the danglies Very modifiable too, if you choose that route.

Admiral Von Tirpitz
For the money they are a great vehicle - paid about £5000 for mine which was 18 months old and 7500 miles on clock, which is half price new, got all the equipment/spec I need and air con, nice alloys. It will cruise at 80mph ok and is generally great car round town, being nippy and loves revs, off road though it is amazing, 4x4 mode locks the axles so its like a mountain goat. Also have a rear drive Merc worth 6 times in value of the Jimny but was a pile of S#it in the snow recently, could not even take that to work as it just was so useless in the snow, the Jimny drives like no snow is there. Unless you need lots of room in the back for people/luggage or have a very big dog - then you cannot go wrong Plus they look so cute
TomV
Its a toss up between a jimni and a grand vitara. I think im favouring the vitara because of the bigger boot
RC45
I'm looking at a Jimny, they are very effective. Make sure you get the later ones without cambelt. linky I prefer the hardback version myself! Phil
