Dave-G
Perhaps someone got there before you Dan and used a 12g which scared the rest off? When the other 50 or so of them are there do you get many chances at one shot two kills? henry c
Non lead bullets I presume? The law states where a single projectile is used there is no need for it to be lead free. Its amazing how quick people are to judge on here! Good shooting and hopefully good eating! Edited March 29, 2010 by henry c
al4x
its always going to be a bit controversial going into the nesting season and something you have to work out yourself as a shooter. If the damage to crops required it then good going.

Its amazing how quick people are to judge on here! Actually pal I wasn't quick to judge, I thought about it for a while and then judged. Whilst I was thinking about it (Again, not being quick to judge) I decided to leave out my thoughts on ethics and just how much damage those FOUR geese were doing to crops. If my 'Not quick to judge' comment on lead was incorrect, then I now stand corrected.

Paul223
I decided to leave out my thoughts on ethics and just how much damage thoseFOUR geese were doing to crops. I reckon each canada goose must be 'worth' at least 4 to 5 pigeon where crop damage is concerned, would you question pigeon shooting at this time of year when a shooter has been out and shot a hand full but only seen 20 when last week the same shooter had seen 250 pigeon on the same crop? MC
Probably not at the tender age of 15, Although compare goose pasties to a macdonalds then it probably is the best food he has ever had.
