henry d
We had a few light snow showers earlier today but now it`s gone very dark and is snowing heavily. The snowflakes are the size of 50p pieces and in the gusts they are horizontal so there will be some bad drifting. Just going to have to have an early night tonight

lurcherboy
I spent 5 minutes cowering in bushes as I was being attacked by pea sized hail at 4-00pm. It hurt like hell and the lurchers weren't happy although the labrador didn't seem to mind it the nutter. LB

LB Hi, LB, stop moaning you are a full grown man with a coat! :< B) I was warming up at rugby club after school today and as we were jogging down the pitch in shorts and a rugby shirt that retains about as much heat as a snowball when the wind blowing horizontally in our faces brought thick hail whiping us to death. But it got worse the coach decided because one incredibly irritating child cut a corner he issued a blanket punishment so we had to do it again and then fifteen press-ups which if anyone cheated was repeated again and again then he made us roll around on our fronts and backs so we were cold and irritable. :< I went to tackle someone and my hands didn't work. :( You have it easy. B) You have it easy. B) FM :( Ah, the joys of being an adult (no doubt fully clothed) with the power to make scantily clad young boys perform for you! It seems a prerequisite for PE Teachers to be sadistic b*stards with very dodgy tendencies. A few years ago I had the pleasure of going down to my son's school and telling his PE teacher what I would do to him if he ever made the whole class of 12 year old boys get undressed and dressed again repeatedly as a punishment. Strangely enough, he never made them do it again. Sick tw*t.

henry d
I lived in cornwall for 12yrs and saw snow twice it was less than an inch deep and because they weren`t ready, and the fact we had small steep hills, the place ground to a halt. Now we are in Scotland and expect to have a white salt sheen on the cars from nov to mar. B)
Wookie
My mate's parent mailed him a photo showing about 2 inches of the white stuff on the ground in Padstowe. He was shocked and really annoyed - His removal van couldn't get up the hill to collect his junk! Cambourne ( the Cambridgeshire one) had a minor flurry yesterday at about 2pm. Other than that, nada Wookie
