pegleg31
true but i'd of had james and hart ahead of him if it was me. apart from his mistake he had a good game. crouch should've of come on alot earlier aswell,i like heskey but i think you need to play with a striker who has goal's in him. bicykillgaz
green was unlucky, i'm more worried about the fact we struggle to score, heskey does a job but he's got no composure in front of goal what so ever! i would have burried that effort yet he drills it straight at the keeper, we've got no real option on the left and a handfull of injuries and yellow cards already. not looking promising but i still believe! bullet boy
Heskey is not good enough in my book. They' d be better off playing Defoe up front. They better shape up otherwise it'll be England coming home sooner than most people will think! pegleg31
Slightly better chance than Wales , ay ? well said that man c'mon,if we can't root for our country then we really are sad. deep down(well on the surface)i know we don't really have a chance, but i'll be supporting our boy's all the way

Marcus
I cant comment on the quality of the football, but given all the hype was 'Englands best chance of winning world cup' yet they only manage a draw against a nation that 'soccer' probably isnt in their top 10 of sports.................what a howler. Will they have enough excuses to fill MOTD ? Ill make a brew.............. MOTD is going to be car crash TV
Mungler
Arghhhhhhh! I am lost for words. That's **** up my Super Yankee and I have hosed a bundle on that "game" In fairness we didn't play that badly it's just the age old England problem of not being able to score goals Ah and yes Jamie Carragher is a ******* joke; I have no idea why he got a shirt
Catamong
I'd rather spend 90 minutes at the Dentist........it's less painful than watching England play..!! Cat.
Cranfield
Football apart, its a pity that Sky aren't doing the World Cup, I miss their profesionalism in coverage. ITV have got that depressing Childs bloke fronting it, manage to lose the HD picture and put on a commercial, just as England score their goal and loads of unnecessary action replays while the game is still going on. BBC have Adebayor as a "studio pundit", I can only understand about 15-20% of what he is saying. At least I can understand about 80% of what Andy Gray says. stripey999
england got as much chance of winning world cup as i have og getting a machine gun on my next variation According to Gordon Banks on the James Cordon show, England were slated in '66 when they drew with Uraguay and pundits said they wouldn't even qualify from their group. Don't knock em yet! Edited June 12, 2010 by stripey999

Compared to what many of them come out with I think this country is quite restrained at the moment and plays down any chance of winning anything. Believe me I am enjoying this tournament alot more than those that did not qualify and that is despite a rubbish 1st game. It is a cheap and easy put down to attack a country for supporting its team. Boromir
I want to know this Where was Rooney? I only saw him miss a header. And that Wright phillips couldnt keep the ball. Defoe should of started from the start but maybe Fabio is keeping him back till we get back into the last 16. I cant see us getting past the Quarter finals. Aw well going to watch Alien on Film4
