garyb
Had my young springer Floyd (16 months) out on the marsh for his first flight this morning. I put the gun away after seeing the others getting stuck into the ducks and sat and watched marking fallen birds. He did a fantastic job, and I am immensely pleased with him! Here's a few pics from this morning. I will have him out more oftern, as I think he could now do with the "field" experience to bring him on. garyb
Thanks chaps... It was hard work for a young dog working / scenting in that mud, the wind wasn't too kind either. I thought he looked more like a weimaraner lewis!

Crouch valley
He did a grand job for his first time out mate there's a lot of distractions for a young dog on the marsh. Its a shame them geese went behind us that would have really tested him. Next time hopefully
